1965. He came to London, UK in the early 80's to grab his dream to become on of the Uk's memorable singer songwriter/producer. He first signed a deal with Elite records in 1985. This enabled him to get to grips with how the industry really works grass roots as it was an independent deal but the label were known at the time of have big success with bands like level 42.
After 3 years being with the label Glen cut ties and decided he needed to work with producers that can make the sound he was looking for. In doing so he met up with jolley Harris jolley and wife and husband and friend team of producers .Glen started to work on striking Major recording deal with Rca/Bmg. The first single was a huge success Titled I WON'T CRY". This established Glen as a pop/soul singer .He then had "Dreaming " a huge recording , What you see is what you get , save a little bit ,and of course the Album "What you see is what you get" . After a huge attack on the uk charts Glen then went to the USA he met up with USA producer Jaae logan of "Bobby Brown" fame and proceeded to work on a new album. He released "One life" and "You got me dancing" Featuring MC Hammer. Glen left RCA in the early 90s and went on to become one of the uk's biggest song writers penning songs like "Mysterious Girl" for Peter Andre , "Call me by my name" for Mica Paris and many more ....
he is in the middle of recording new material for his new album a mix of soul , and soulful house /Uk R&B .
he still tours all over the UK and Europe and has a devoted fan base that still to this day considers him one of their fav British artist and have fond memories of the late 80s and Glen Goldsmith was the sound that Took them there and made them fans for life.
