Goddess Gagged Lyrics

Understand what"s already been said
Come, look through my eyes
The world doesn"t seem so nice
You"ll decide who you are so much better
Just as long as you don"t lie to yourself
Change isn"t hard, it"s like the weather
Open eyes, closed
Still the mind shows
Visions of another world I call home
Just stay with me
Wake up to the real
The song "Dreamer" by Goddess Gagged speaks to the listener to open their eyes and take a deeper look at society. The lyrics convey a message of disillusionment with the world and the harsh realities that surround it. The singer encourages the listener to come into their head and understand what has already been said, as the world does not seem so nice. The lyrics encourage self-reflection and changing for the better in order to become more authentic. One can only decide who they are by not lying to themselves and thinking about their actions.
Throughout the song, the lyrics illustrate a desire for a different world, which the singer describes as a refuge from the one we currently live in. The melody of the song is contemplative, almost like a lullaby, drawing the listener into a meditative space where one can ponder the message of the song. "Dreamer" encourages listeners to open their eyes and wake up to reality, rather than living in a dream world. The song inspires a profound sense of introspection, urging the listener to analyze their own thoughts and actions to become a better person.
