Golden Earring Lyrics

* Cut

I am not an object
Somethin' you throw away
I am no piece of junk
That's been left on a stationary train
I want you to get a message
To the one that's gonna set me free
Tell her to hurry - tell her to recognize me
'Cause I'm beginning to believe

That forever I'll live on a shelf
Of the lost

I know you probably won't see this dad but thank you so much for teaching me what real music is from the first Led Zeppelin cd you handed me to basically forfeiting up your huge collection of the best music ever. I remember trying these guys out in my room at 14 and finding this hidden gem of a song and 16 years later here I am at 6 in the morning, woman and kid asleep, getting the same kinda love outta this basically unknown masterpiece that should have millions of views but sadly not everyone is as blessed to have such a kick ass dad as you. I love you and and thanks to golden earring for giving the world this song and a lot more good tunes! This song blows radar love out of the water lol
