End of Days
Golem Lyrics

Should I make me to stay?
What do you want me to pray?
Be strong to bear the pain
I need to go to find my treasure
I need to go for my solution
I need to show myself to the world
Can you give me my white sister?
You know without her I can't survive
Can you brother help me again?
Yes, I'm sure you know the way
I want to fall
I wanna be upset
No fear at all
Of what is coming next
Losin' tomorrow
It's ok for a great day
Now I want you to say
I'm the hunter, you're my prey
Now I want you to say
You're the poison in my veins
And no we are here together
My heart is beating stronger
I can see everything much better
I can see my pleasure closer
I want to fall
I wanna be upset
No fear at all
Of what is coming next
Losin' tomorrow
It's ok for a great day
I want to see the world
That burns
I want to see the sun
Getting dark
I want to show you
The new kingdom come
I'll be in the end of days
This is the end of days
I'll be there
I want to see the world
That burns
I want to see the sun
Getting dark
I want to show you
The new kingdom come
I'll be in the end of days
This is the end of days
I'll be there
The lyrics of Golem's song "End Of Days" are centered around the idea of seeking one's true purpose and destiny, even if it means leaving behind what is comfortable and familiar. The singer asks what the listener wants them to say or do, questioning whether they should stay or leave. They express a desire to find their treasure, their solution, and show themselves to the world, but acknowledge that this may involve breaking promises and facing pain.
They also ask for their "white sister" and "brother" to help them, indicating a strong sense of community and interdependence. Despite this, they express a willingness to be alone and upset, without fear of what's to come. The singer wants to see the world burn and the sun darken, showing a fascination with chaos and destruction. They claim to be the "hunter" and the listener their "prey", but also acknowledge the listener as the "poison in [their] veins".
Ultimately, the song ends on a note of determination and acceptance: the singer will be present in the "end of days", suggesting a readiness to face whatever comes their way in pursuit of their destiny.
