My first A in college in dec 2004 was due to a 6 page essay on this song and its meaning ...that means alot to me due to the fact I have a learning disability in reading and writing, but I was so passionate about GC that I spent at least 12 hours on that assignment. Got to see them 5 months later for the first time in concert. Was going through so much BS in life that seeing them and them playing hold on literally saved me from suicide that weekend. Every time I was suicidal I played hold on on repeat. Thank you GC for being yourselves and making amazing music!
