Gorgon City Lyrics

Imagine I was good again, but you still see me the same
And baby, why can't you pretend that nothing here has changed?
Let's rewind, we'll be fine
You'll forgive me, believe that I'm sorry
'Cause your eyes will be fine
Come back inside, there's no need to worry

I need you to use use use use use use your imagination
I need you to use use use use use use your imagination
No no no don't tell me that you're leaving
I need you to use use use use use use your imagination

Imagine you remember me, let yourself believe a word I say
See everybody makes mistakes, and if you may believe we'll go away
Let's rewind, we'll be fine
You'll forgive me, believe that I'm sorry
'Cause your eyes will be fine
Come back inside, there's no need to worry

I need you to use use use use use use your imagination
I need you to use use use use use use your imagination
No no no don't tell me that you're leaving
I need you to use use use use use use your imagination

Come, close to me, tell me what you want me to do
What you're imagining, but you let me softly to change your mind
Change your mind
No holding, babe, I've been waiting so patiently
No need to say, come with me before our time runs out
Our time runs out

I need you to use use use use use use your imagination
I need you to use use use use use use your imagination

No no no don't tell me that you're leaving
I need you to use use use use use use your imagination

Overall Meaning

The song "Imagination" by Gorgon City explores the idea of forgiveness in a relationship that has encountered some issues. The lyrics invite the listener to imagine what could happen if both parties committed to imagining a new reality for their relationship, one in which the mistakes of the past would no longer be a source of conflict. The song's narrator tells their partner that they need to use their imagination to see past the hurt and mistrust, to imagine a new beginning that is possible if they set aside their differences and work towards a common goal.

The first verse sets the scene for the narrative by revealing that the singer has made some mistakes that have affected the relationship negatively. They plead with their partner to pretend that nothing has changed, that they can both forget about what happened and move forward. They promise to make things right and ask their partner to forgive them. The chorus reinforces this idea of using the imagination as a tool to escape the past and focus on the potential of what could be. The second verse takes a similar approach, emphasizing the importance of remembering the good times and believing that they can still occur.

The song's bridge kicks things up a notch, as the singer gets more aggressive in their desire to make things right. They tell their partner to get close and to share their fantasies, letting the singer use their sensual charm to convince them that a bright future is possible. They urge their partner not to waste any more time, as opportunities can easily slip away if they're not careful. The song's final chorus is a repetition of the previous sections, emphasizing the message that the power of imagination can be a formidable force in a relationship.

I feel that this song was far ahead of its time. Legendary.

@anacoric3368

No, it was behind. If it was released in 2004-2005, the golden age of house music, it would be ultimate worldwide hit.

@liamneslind4182

@@anacoric3368   u obviously have no clue what ur talking about because this sounds nothing like 2004-2005 house.

House eras come with sound packs. Everyone has access to the same sounds at a given time. And those specific sounds determine a 'era' in edm music.

This sound is very in tune with what everyone else was using in 2014-2015.
