Me imagino el contexto de la canción asi:
Gorillaz en búsqueda de inspiración, fue a un restaurante de comida latina, este con música, comida y claro esta, gente de Latinoamérica, mientras que los otros iban a buscar cosas de que sacar de lugar y esperar a comer algo, 2D aún se queda deprimido por qué esto le recuerda a Paula, en sus mejores momentos. Cuando todo era positivo, todo era menos complicado y solo era el y su tienda de música, su novia, y no mucho más.
El se sienta en un lugar, y no busca hacer nada, se siente hasta cansado de solo ver el lugar, todo estuvo así, hasta que un hombre vio a 2D, le dijo "Hey, amigo, ¿esta bien?, se te ve triste", 2D voltea a otro lado e ignora al hombre, a lo que el hombre se sienta al mismo lugar de 2D e intenta animarlo.
"Hermano, no entiendo que te pasa, pero te ves miserable, en una vida tan preciosa".
2D, sarcásticamente responde "¿Tu lo crees?", luego de eso, se pone algo agresivo y le dice a el hombre "Mira, lo estoy perdiendo todo, mi familia no me reconoce, me quitaron los ojos, mi novia me engaño, y lo único que me queda es estar con la persona la cual me quito mis cuencas, ¿acaso a eso le llamas siquiera vida?".
A lo que el hombre responde "Amigo, hubo un momento el cual estaba igual que tu, por ahí en Cuba, mi ciudad natal, era todo jodido por ese entonces, siempre me sentía mal al ver como todo se me iba a abajo, que incluso no tenia para comer, pero siempre, siempre tenia algo, y era una canción"

This song is so beautiful and so depressing at the same time... it really hits close to home. Not because I'm depressed or anything, but because I've been around Spanish music for almost my entire life. This is definitely one of the best bands out there, and I can't wait for the new album in 2017!
