I continued to gain knowledge and experience, which only strengthened my position and control.

Surrounded with legends, and distant from others, I copied them yet
I was surrounded by figures of myth and legend, while remaining detached from society, yet I still learned from them.

Trivial looking although nasty, I bowed to the criteria of a changing world
I may have appeared insignificant, but I adapted to the changing world and evolved to maintain my power.

Into which I fit unduly and prepare my predicted reign
I inserted myself into the world, taking what I saw as my rightful place and preparing for my expected rule.

Announcement of the saviours
I declared myself and my followers as the saviors of the world, bringing about a new order.

Protected secret
I held onto my secrets and ensured they were kept safe from those who would try to undermine me.

Manipulated masses
I used my power and influence to sway and control the masses, bending them to my will.

Honored prophecy
I lived up to and fulfilled the prophecy that foretold of my rise to power and rule over the world.

Decimated enemies
I destroyed all who opposed me and threatened my power.

This failing world
The world was on the brink of collapse and needed a new leader to save it.

Will be the cocoon of my chrysalis
The failing world provided the perfect environment for me to grow and evolve into a stronger leader.

I continue to seek growth and evolution, never satisfied with resting on my laurels.

This humanity that believes it's omniscient
Humanity, in its arrogance, believed it knew everything and was invincible.

But my rise to power and control made humanity realize that it was not invincible and must surrender to my rule.

Exhausted resources, suffocating nature
The world had depleted its resources and nature suffered under humanity's overuse and abuse.

Overcrowded areas, non existent tolerance
Population numbers had soared, leading to overcrowding, and intolerance and conflict between different groups.

Ways to a total war with a unique survivor
War was inevitable, with only one survivor emerging victorious, which I saw would be me and my followers.
