1. NYC’s Gravesend … Read Full Bio ↴There are at least two bands with the same name:
1. NYC’s Gravesend arise with ill intent like a foul emanation from the aging sewage filled rot slowly winding its way beneath the city’s vast concrete walls and pavement pathways. A New York of discarded needles, noxious fumes, scavenging rats, broken bottles and cracked minds.
An aural manifesto of urban blight and disgust, “Methods Of Human Disposal” works like a lone killer stalking the streets, internally seething with rage, preparing to cast off the last remnants of restraint. Bear witness to savage black/death/grind fixation, searing warped speeds, and the slowly swelling carnage of a derailed subway pile up.
Like the centuries old cemetery that bears its name, the fetid stench of death and decay permeates Gravesend and the predatory wrath and inhumanity embodied in “Methods Of Human Disposal” holds up a shattered mirror reflecting back the filth and corruption of a New York that never really went away.
2. An alternative metal/hard rock band from Chicago, IL, featuring members from former national acts Deepfield, Janus, Seconds To Serenity, and Daylight Dawns.
Gravesend is:
Baxter Teal - Vocals/Guitar
Jake LoGiudice - Guitar/Vocals/Programming
Mike Falesch - Guitar
Rick Tauber - Bass
Jake Portenkirchner - Drums
3. GRAVESEND, a genre-fluid band, is the continuation of PVMNTS from Southern California. Comprising of Wilfredo Alexis Ramirez, Angel Lopez, Ben Lopez and John Barry, the band released their debut single "Lights" on October 17th, 2019 to critical acclaim. https://gravesendband.com
Shallow Grave
Gravesend Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Confound and lost with passing time
Look to the sky and you will see
Of how your life was ment to be
You have begun to fall
Your backs against the wall
I gave and took control
But now I want it all
And in this shallow grave I lie
Confound and lost with passing time
Look to the sky and you will see
Of how your life was ment to be
I know and saw my faith
To find security
I've lost and found my way
I gave you part of me
Over and over again
***CHORUS***
So they stand and stare
Burn your mind inside
River banks are full
Overfilled with blood
***CHORUS***
Rise Motherfucker rise Its my time Its my time
Rise
The lyrics to Gravesend's song 'Shallow Grave' depict the singer being buried alive in a shallow grave and feeling lost, confused and stuck in time. He asks the listener to look up at the sky and consider how their life is supposed to be. The singer reveals that he once had faith and a sense of security, but he lost his way and gave part of himself to another. The chorus seems to speak of the consequences of one's actions causing a river of blood to overflow and spill out. The last part of the song is a call to rise up and seize control of one's life.
The song's lyrics explore the themes of loss, confusion, and a sense of feeling stuck or trapped. The singer's despair is evident as he speaks of being buried alive in a shallow grave, which is a metaphor for feeling trapped or stuck in a situation. He urges the listener to think about their life and how it is meant to be, perhaps suggesting that we should take more control of our lives rather than letting others lead us astray.

The bones you think are too big, actually aren't. Could be a pelvic bone, shoulder blade. femur, femur hip joint sockets, knee cap, etc...or even the heal. Very interesting find. Of course, handling them, rubbing them, looking for hair with your bare hands...could all contaminate the DNA testing. Next time wear clean surgical gloves and bring small hand tools and soft paint brushes for brushing away the soil. If you plan and taking them for testing bring plastic zip lock bags. Great video..thank you so much for taking us on these adventures. I love your channel. :)

@Tammy Hunter l agree with you Tammy, could be Native American Graves but the guys have been searching for 2 women for agas now and the duct tape dosent sound like a proper grave of someone.

@Tammy Hunter if its a grave like they found . Yes they should. What if your child was missing? Youd want someone to find their grave. So you could have closure and a little proper burial. Now if its a "real grave" headstone, graveyard thats different.

So I have a bachelor's in forensic science/ CSI and am a death investigator. Some of those bones do look like the small bones in the wrist and fingers. And I do agree with the skull piece due to the growth lines and the thick/thin-ness of it. I wanted to say it was a pet buried but alot of those bones looked too human and you didn't find canines of a cat or dog. You guys should have called the authorities just to make sure. The other thing is the bones looked very old.
