1. Graveyard is a hard rock band from Gothenburg, Sweden.
Joakim Nilsson, Rikard Edlund (both formerly of Norrsken), Axel Sjöberg, and Truls Mörck formed Graveyard in 2006. When Norrsken disbanded in 2000, guitarist Magnus Pelander went on to form doomy folk metal act Witchcraft and Nilsson and Edlund joined Albatros, a growly blues rock band whose lineup also included Sjöberg on drums. Initially they considered Albatros a hobby project, but after five years the members began taking their music more seriously and had grown dissatisfied with the direction their sound had taken. When Albatros broke up, Nilsson and Edlund decided that for their next venture, they would head back towards their roots as musicians and songwriters. Nilsson explains, “I am a singer, but in Albatross I only played guitar. Rikard played guitar but he is a bass player. We also wanted a more straightforward [rock] sound.”
Together with Sjöberg and guitarist/singer Truls Mörck they began practicing as Graveyard. Upon their initial formation, Graveyard quickly recorded a two track demo, played a total of three shows, and began planning for a full-length album with Swedish boutique label, Transubstans Records. In the meantime, they posted a demo of some of their material on MySpace. Songs from the band's Myspace caught the ear of Tony Presedo, founder of TeePee Records. Their self-titled debut album was recorded by Don Ahlsterberg and released in early 2008. On the recording sessions' completion, Truls Mörck was replaced by guitarist Jonatan Ramm. The debut album received generally good reviews. Graveyard performed at the 2008's South by Southwest Music Festival.
Graveyard was featured on Rolling Stone Magazine's Fricke's Picks for their first ever US gig at SXSW.[4] After SXSW, Graveyard toured with label mates Witch. In the Fall of 2008 Graveyard toured with Witchcraft and then Clutch. In 2009 they toured with the rock band CKY. Graveyard released their second album in spring of 2011.
2. Graveyard is also a melodic stoner rock/metal band from Vilnius, Lithuania. The band was formed in 2005 by five young like-minded guys. Later, the rhythm guitarist Artas left the band. Graveyard made a break when due to disagreements their vocalist Donatas Gailiušis also left the band. In the late spring of 2008 the band got back with a new vocalist and are ready to rock the stage again. The current members are: Simonas Palevičius (vocals), Marius Palivonas (guitar), Vaidotas Segenis (drums) and Martynas Samulevičius (bass guitar).

Graveyard won a rock&roll marathon in Kruševac, where they had beaten their competition of almost 20 bands, and the reward helped them as a part of the recording budget. Don't Take Us For Fools
Graveyard Lyrics

make our life feel worthwile
Changing our ways
and make us feel less
Cause you are using your brains
and you're using our arms
Make us lose our sense in useless things
More isn't enough, just gaining wealth
We're calling you treason,
you make use feel ...
You think we're just glad, oh, having our health
Sometimes, we got to get up
and break down that system that's keeping us down
Play that god, that we all should serve
Your goal is our souls and it's tearing up holes
Why is there no-one, stopping your madness?
Try to get away, when we open our eyes
Sometimes, we got to get up
and break down that system that's keeping us down
Sometimes, we got to wake up
and realise that this isn't right
What makes you think that you have the right
To impoverish the sun that we all should share
Because the ones, who were the first
to put up fences and claim land for their own
Sometimes, we got to get up
and break down that system that's keeping us down
Sometimes, we got to get up
and realise that this isn't right
You take us for fools
but one thing you'll see
'Cause the way that you rule
is just tyranny
You take us for fools
All the .. that you lost
Civilisation ends
The bastard's creed
it's just tyranny
Just rise and say no
to the one ...
and take all the wealth
The lyrics of "Don't Take Us For Fools" by Graveyard are a commentary on the power dynamics that exist in society, particularly in the context of wealth and class. The song begins by discussing the ways in which those in power distract and manipulate the masses, using their physical labor and mental energy for their own gain. The cynical tone of the lyrics suggests a frustration with the way things are and a desire to break away from the existing power structure. The chorus emphasizes this desire for change, using repetition to drive home the message that it's time to wake up and realize that the current system is not working.
The second verse of the song calls out those in power for their greed and selfishness, explicitly accusing them of "tearing up holes" in people's lives in pursuit of their own goals. The singer advocates for collective action, encouraging listeners to reject the view that they are just passive recipients of the status quo. The final verse of the song further criticizes the way social hierarchies are constructed, suggesting that the current system is built on a false idea of ownership and entitlement that should be rejected.
Overall, the song is a call to arms for listeners to break free from the constraints of power dynamics and take control of their own lives. It champions the idea that ordinary people have the power to make a difference if they are willing to take action.
