Where'd You Go
Grayson Lyrics
I'm choosing not to be who I was before
I met you in the summer storm
Cause' time carries on
And waves pass
And this love it wouldn't last
So much for a happy end
She showed me the ropes and laughed at my jokesI hope she knows
I've moved on for good
Yet the scars leave a hole
I'm trying my best to repair what's been sown
I can't do it, I can't do it anymore
I have to let you go
I know it's not alright
Being stuck for so long
The quicksands' got a hold on my heart
She cared so much
And so did I
We'll meet again in another life
At least now I can say I tried
I'm not gonna fight with the past and the truth
I hope I grow
To be someone new who leaves room for two
I'm trying my best to repair what's been sown
I can't do it, I can't do it anymore
Anymore
I have to let you go
I met you in the summer storm
Cause' time carries on
And waves pass
And this love it wouldn't last
So much for a happy end
She showed me the ropes and laughed at my jokesI hope she knows
I've moved on for good
Yet the scars leave a hole
I'm trying my best to repair what's been sown
I can't do it, I can't do it anymore
I have to let you go
I know it's not alright
Being stuck for so long
The quicksands' got a hold on my heart
She cared so much
And so did I
We'll meet again in another life
At least now I can say I tried
I'm not gonna fight with the past and the truth
I hope I grow
To be someone new who leaves room for two
I'm trying my best to repair what's been sown
I can't do it, I can't do it anymore
Anymore
I have to let you go
