Jorge Colotto was not, consciously, lying. He was told that Bormann was guest. Colotto accepted this as a fact without reason to discredit the information, and he therefore believed it and now relays to us the occurrence. He was also keen to keep the information confidential at the time he was told this. This story is true to Colotto, even if he was lied to, because Colotto believed it to be fact. Do we?

Commissioner Colotto had no need for fame. This interview was conducted in 2011. This man was the former assistant and ADC to 7 Presidents. He was very connected internationally due to his work on breaking up the narco cartels. He was responsible for breaking up the narco traffic route down from central America through South america and into Argentina in the 90's. He was a very brave and courageous and morally correct man. He was later imprisoned for three years by a corrupt argentine government because he refused to lie for them. He agreed this could only be published after his death. Where is the fame in that? They do not make honourable men like that anymore.
MB was found in 1972 and his skull was covered in red clay, Exotic to Germany and local to Paraguay where Mengele was living. How do you explain that? His teeth had post 1950 work. Also the bone density test found the bones to be of the age of a man (at time of death) in his late 50's to 70;s. The bones were stored in Paraguay and moved back to Berlin in 1972 to quash new reports from an investigation conducted by Ladislas Farago in Buenos Aires that Borman had indeed escaped.That interview was done in 2011 as part of a 17 year investigation into the survival of Martin Bormann. It's probably the only safe primary source in the series.

It’s so crazy that it was just assumed that Bormann was killed as Russia was bombing Berlin, as Hitler “committed suicide,” but it’s 100% verified that he made it to Argentina.

Colotto was told that Peron's "guest" was Bormann and Colotto had no reason to disbelieve it. He passed along the information in good faith. Of course he wasn't lying.
