I have put in a lot of effort and hard work to get to where I am today, and only God truly understands the extent of it.

How hard I've worked just to get to this point
I have worked tirelessly in order to achieve my current level of success.

And I'm not talking about my achievements
I am not referring to my accomplishments when I talk about how much work I have put in.

How much money I've made off teaching
I have earned a substantial amount of money by teaching others.

Made from gigs, royalties from releasing songs
I have made a considerable amount of money from my musical performances and the royalties I get from my released songs.

How many girls I've dated
The number of relationships I have been in is not an accurate representation of my hard work and dedication towards my success.

Now; almost everything I did was wrong
Looking back, I realize that many of the things I did in the past were not the right choices to make.

Next thing you know a decade's gone, gone, everyone else's gone
Time has passed by quickly, and I have lost touch with many of the people who were once a part of my life.

Nothing's as well as I've hoped
Things did not turn out as well as I had initially hoped for.

January left me with a broken heart
The start of a new year has left me feeling heartbroken.

Realized old friends and I've grown apart
I have come to the realization that I have drifted away from some of my closest friends over the years.

Saw the pic of our clique on Instagram
When I saw a picture of my old friend group on Instagram, it reminded me of the good times we had together.

Some birthday party at some rooftop
The image was of them all attending a birthday party on a rooftop.

Though I might from that's something I'm fine with
Although I am okay with not being a part of that specific event in their lives.

But it does hurt that I wasn't invited
I still feel a sense of hurt and disappointment that I was not invited to join in the celebration.

As far as music goes, still waiting
I am still working towards my ultimate goal in the world of music.

Day when I hear my song playing on radio
I am looking forward to the day when one of my songs is played on the radio.

I imagined being in a Comfort taxi
I have a vivid imagination of what it would feel like to experience the sudden serendipity of hearing my music while riding in a Comfort taxi.

Stuck in a peak hour traffic when my track comes on and I hear my voice
During a particularly busy time on the road, my song comes on the radio and I hear my own voice ringing through the singers.

Coming from the backseat speakers
I imagine the surreal experience of hearing my own song coming from the artists of the taxi's backseat.

Woah, that would've been surreal
The experience would be incredibly surreal and breathtaking.

There's no stopping dreams 'till our dreams are real
As long as we continue to have dreams and aspirations, we should continue working towards them until they have been realized.

When my dues are paid
Once all of the hard work and effort have paid off in terms of success.

Catch me if you can like Tom Hanks
Once I achieve my goals, I will be unstoppable, like the character played by Tom Hanks in the movie 'Catch Me If You Can'.

'Cause I'll be on tour and maybe
It is possible that I will go on tour after achieving success.

Just maybe I might get to open for Jay Z or Kayne or Eninem
There is a slim chance that I may have the opportunity to open for some of the biggest names in music such as Jay-Z, Kayne West or Eminem.

With Grizzle, Kwizyne, and Requiem
If I do get the chance to perform alongside these big names, I will be representing my crew: Grizzle, Kwizyne, and Requiem.

VIP passes for you and you, too
My success and fame would allow me to gift VIP passes and special experiences to my closest friends and family.

Especially family at School of Music
In particular, I would make sure that my loved ones who have supported me throughout the years, especially those who attended the same music school as me, get a chance to be a part of this experience.

Things have changed, I knew those days they couldn't remain
I understand that things will inevitably change, and those days of my past could not last forever.

But this feeling I feel I shouldn't contain
I cannot help but feel a certain sense of excitement and energy about whatever the future might hold.

Excitement I don't quite feel enlightened
Although I am not entirely sure what the future holds, the sense of excitement is still present within me.

From times passed I've come out fighting
Despite the struggles of my past, I have learned to fight for what I want and strive towards success.

I lost some along the way but that's okay
Along the way, I have lost some friends and companions, but I understand that this is a part of life.

Cuz they didn't understand my ways, it's a shame
Some people did not understand my path and my methods, which ultimately led to our drifting apart, which is unfortunate.

But life goes on, I confide in a chosen few
Life does not wait for anyone or anything, and I have learned to confide only in certain people about my journey.

The ones who know this smile is overdue
The people who have been with me through thick and thin, truly know the value of my smile and my happiness.

No tears in the rain, I hope he's listening
Despite the many challenges that I have faced, I choose to be strong and not cry, carrying on with the hope that someone is listening to the message of my music.

Rather share a beer than have a hit with him
Instead of becoming famous and having a lot of money, I would much rather just sit down and have a beer with my friend who has been by my side through thick and thin.

Resolutions like January, a New Year
Just like New Year's resolutions, I am constantly making changes in my life and working towards my goals.

I am grateful to those who have helped and supported me when I was just a newcomer in this industry.

The moon symbolizes something different to each person, but, in this case, it represents the witness of my journey and the success I've made it to.
