The repetition of "fall down" throughout the song can be interpreted as an invitation to let go of all worries and surrender to the pleasures of the season. The blue skies are a recurring motif which represent the feeling of freedom and the expansive possibilities that come with the warm weather.
The first verses are simple and direct, expressing the power of blue skies to uplift and transform one's mood. The repetition of the phrase "blue skies and summer life" underscores the theme of the song, which is the transformative power of the season.
The final verse repeats the earlier lines but with a slight variation, as the singer now directly addresses the listener, inviting us to let go and fall down into the joy of the season. I traveled to Spain when I was about 19 with a close friend and this was the first song I listened to sitting on the beach in Barcelona. Good times. Hope everyone is having a good day, much love.

I listened to this track many times in 1999. Housebound with a mortgage (home loan). No money to go out at night and socialise. The loan is long-gone, the apartment is mine and now I look back on that time as a period of personal development and growth and money discipline. Thanks for posting this track. A beautiful track and great album.

Awesome story, I was barely 10 in 1999. I was rinsing this tune when I was about 19 while touring Europe in 2009. I can still remember putting this on while sitting on the beach in Barcelona.
