Since 1998, GFT has brought their unique brand of jazz and R&B infused tunes to festival, concert, school, and nightclub audiences throughout the United States and abroad.

The seven members of GFT create their own sound while drawing on influences as diverse as Earth, Wind, & Fire and The Count Basie Orchestra. Groove For Thought's self titled debut CD has been released to rave reviews and has received radio airplay from coast to coast.

@Kelly Severson-Kunz Cool, I love to point out underviewed folks with mega talent, glad you enjoyed it. Groove is DEFINITELY another, at least they were. I think in some respects they outperform the jazz vocal greats, like Manhattan Xfer...and I was a fan of theirs, as well.

Want to see another, if you've never seen him, slightly different genre, but a real talent, as well...Sam Robson, he does ALL of this himself, sometimes overdubbing 100+ X, it must take forever, and the results are stunning, MHO, gave you two extremes, he covers just about every style there is folk, jazz, pop, classical, movie, hymns, you name it, even Gregorian Chant....He's FINALLY got a vid well over a million views...bout time, MHO, see what you think, this first one is very simple, by his usual levels, but extremely powerful:

There is a treasure trove of ridiculous talent out there, when you get past the pop circus four chord show your belly button nonsense. YT is an amazing vehicle for showcasing it. Jacob Collier is another gem.

Search Amanda Taylor and 7th avenue band on YT to see another great WAY TOO unknown (for their talent) group with one of these fine folks guesting in (wouldn't mind seeing you become a permanent "fixture" there, Amanda, though I realize quite a stretch distance wise)...one of their best collabs. I do enjoy listening to that awesome and talented voice of yours!
