After being saved, my spiritual connection is strong and advanced

Downloaded every scripture that my mind could take
I have learned and absorbed as much spiritual knowledge and teachings as possible

Now I'm a PC but with a MAC face
My spiritual connection is a unique blend of different teachings and beliefs, similar to how a PC and MAC operating system can be used together

Too smart to get caught up in the rat race
I am wise enough to avoid getting caught up in superficial and meaningless pursuits

I don't need the cheese
I don't need the worldly things that many people strive for

I don't my life fast paced
I prioritize enjoying life at a steady, manageable pace

I don't need the lights
I don't need to be in the spotlight or to receive attention

I don't need to play the hard case
I don't feel the need to act tough or put up a facade to impress others

All I need is you
All I need is my spiritual connection and faith in a higher power

All I need is simple blind faith
I trust in my spiritual beliefs without needing concrete proof or evidence of their validity

Now my eyes are open seeing HD
I can now see things more clearly and with greater detail

I am a person who was once lost but is now free thanks to my spiritual beliefs

I have been faced with numerous challenges posed by life and society

Through the darkest valley
During the most difficult times of my life

But His grace was there to save me
I was able to overcome these challenges thanks to the grace and support of my spiritual beliefs

I remember when Johnny boy was shot up
I remember a time when someone close to me was hurt or killed by violence

And they remember when that prison door got locked up
I remember a time when someone close to me was imprisoned

I had a choice either surrender or get chopped up
I had a difficult choice to make between giving up and succumbing to the challenges faced or persevering despite potential harm

This ain't a game, ain't no body x-boxed up
These are serious, real-life situations and not some fictional, simulated game

I know the second that I came into this earth
From the moment of my birth

I was made for more than heels & rocking cute designer skirts
I have a greater purpose in life beyond material possessions or appearances

I got a voice and though I'm scared
I have the capability to express myself, even if it is intimidating

I feel my words carry worth
I believe that what I say and express has significance and value

In my darkest valleys
During the moments of my life where I have faced the hardest struggles

I could see the sun above my earth
I was still able to find hope and light within the darkness

Reaching down just to rescue me from my insecurity
My spiritual beliefs have helped me overcome my feelings of insecurity

All of the abuse my step-father did when I was weak
I have experienced abuse and hardship in my life, particularly from family members during vulnerable moments

Way too young to know that I should open up my mouth to speak
I was too naive or inexperienced to know how to speak up against abuse or hardship

Now I see, all the years I lost trying find some peace
I have come to realize how much of my life was consumed by seeking peace or stability

And when my father died I swore it was the end of me
I was devastated after experiencing the loss of a loved one and thought it would consume me completely

But Jesus gave me hope beyond the pain of what my eyes could see
My faith helped me find hope and positivity beyond what I could see with my own eyes

Now I stand a daughter of a Father who won't ever sleep
I feel supported and protected by my faith and spiritual beliefs

Truth has spoken and now that truth is here to set you free
The truth of my spiritual faith has been impactful and freeing for me, and I hope it can have a similar impact on others

I am very familiar with these challenges

I'm also cool with pain, heartbreak & anger
I am able to confront and cope with difficult emotions

To find your childhood experience
To discover that one's childhood is shaped by difficult and traumatic experiences can be incredibly jarring

The beauty of life and the world around us

Even when life is difficult, I will not turn away from my faith

I seen beautiful flowers from wild weather
I have found beauty and positivity even in the midst of chaos or turmoil

However, pay for it nevertheless
Even though there is beauty to be found in difficult times, there is still a price to be paid

I am connected to a larger, spiritual network

I am undergoing personal and spiritual growth even in difficult times
