Adam's first instrument was an old acoustic guitar given to him by his cousin around the age of ten. Quickly bored by it's lack of power and volume he moved on to the electric guitar and spent most of his free time in high school in sweaty garages with his band as a singer and guitarist. Growing frustrated attempting to coordinate other band members with his concepts and feeling limited by the sounds traditional instruments could make he began djing in 1992 while attending college in Boston. After about a year of sharpening his skills and building his vinyl collection he began getting gigs at various warehouse parties, raves, and clubs around the northeastern U.S. Upon finishing college he returned to West Palm Beach just after the biggest party Florida had ever seen at that point, Rapture 95. He immediately acquired representation by AM productions who was responsible for this epic jam. Grow was then booked for the Florida leg of the djmix.com tour where he opened for Superstar Dj Keoki and rocked every worthwhile club in Florida from Space in Miami to Mascarade in Tampa. While this was going on Grow began messing around with Rebirth and his thirst for complete creative control took control. It wasn't long till he grabbed a Korg Trinity, Novation Supernova,and started making beats in Cubase. Adam still enjoyed djing but his lust for production took over and he soon spent all of his free time in the studio.Now his weapons of choice are his Virus TI, his self built core i7 powerhouse desktop equipped with Abelton Live and a long list of "secret weapon vst's. Adam's style has evolved combining aspects from many different genres like industrial, hardcore, breakbeat, trip hop, and even dubstep but his expression is always delivered in an electro bass package. Finally in 2007 he started CHP Recordings and released his record "Electronik Milk" which is still regarded as a modern classic electro circles around the globe.His newest release "Calculating Immortality" boasts eight tracks that can be described as dark, intelligent, and original electro bass that writes it's own rules challenging minds and shaking asses. Dressed with witty, powerful and original lyrics coupled with spacey eerie samples his music, although sometimes playful and downright weird always has a deeper message about life and the world we live in. 2.) Grow were formed in 2004 after James Cook (vocals) and John Finlay (bass) moved to London having gigged together in a number of bands on the Birmingham music scene. They met with Nick Long (drums) and Pob (guitar) – who has recently had success writing the soundtrack to the Cannes nominated British short film “The Man Who Met Himself”.
Grow spent their first few months developing a sound that had a nod towards bands such as Supergrass, The Smiths and The Jam. Grow create crafted, engaged and uplifting songs and have latterly been compared to Doves and Idlewild.
Grow started to make a dent on the public consciousness with a summer 05 tour to promote their self produced demo including a memorable support slot with Roots Manuva (With Francesca Ray) and culminating in a triumphant gig at the Half Moon in Putney.
Grow are currently busy in the studio writing a follow up and will be gigging at a venue near you in spring 06.

The lyrics to Grow's song "Never" are very vulgar and nonsensical. From the first line, "Calloway driver took a shit and I'm feeling lighter," the lyrics are shocking and leave the listener scratching their head. The mention of feces and swinging it around is repulsive and may be a metaphor for the singer feeling a release and freedom after something heavy is removed from their life. The references to jumping like a monkey or a liger may be a way of saying the singer is feeling wild and uninhibited.
The next lines about a woman's tightness around the singer's penis and nipple-sucking are graphic and seem to be meant to shock and offend. References to peanuts, pickles, and nickels appear to be random, nonsensical phrases thrown in for shock value. The insult "running on one less chromo" is particularly offensive and derogatory towards individuals with Down Syndrome. The following lines about not paying for features and studying finance seem to be a way for the singer to boast about their success without really making any sense.
