The lyrics of Grupo Encanto's song "Pinocho" capture the story of a poor wooden puppet who is badly injured and taken to the old hospital of the dolls. He is attacked by a ruthless scarecrow bandit while he sleeps and is left with a broken nose and leg, as well as internal injuries.
