A los 9 años, JUAN CORONA vocalista del grupo, se presentaría en publico por primera vez y gano por el estado de Guanajuato, en un concurso infantil, que se llevo a cabo a nivel nacional donde solo el 1 er lugar de cada estado participaría en la cuidad de México, en Televisa, de ahí JUAN ya sabia el sueño que quería alcanzar con el resto de sus hermanos

La música preferida, que siempre escuchaban los Hnos. corona de niños con sus mama, la Sra. LUPITA MEJIA, fue la música norteña, música bravía y por parte de su papa el Sr. JUAN CORONA la música romántica .Es por eso que decidieron años mas tarde, su hermano mayor RAYMUNDO CORONA, al igual que Juan formaban el grupo norteño de los Hnos. CORONA, en los Ángeles, California

Ellos comentan , que al igual que muchos de los paisanos que emprenden su sueño americano de pasar al otro lado , no les fue nada fácil , pasaron hambre, fríos y comenzaron tocando para bodas , bautizos todo tipo de fiestas , hasta velorios , un poco de todo…

Sus primeras grabaciones como los Hnos. Corona fueron para varias Cia .disqueras, como Azteca 2000, cintas acuario del Sr. Pedro Rivera, y th rodeen.

La inquietud por escucharse en la radio, llamar la atención del publico y no ser confundidos constantemente con otros grupos musicales, los llevo a crear el nombre de “EXTERMINADOR”, el grupo se define con un excelente combinación del manejo del albur, lo pesado, lo chusco y lo sentimental.
Enseguida grabaron para las Cia de Ego Records donde se empezaban a escuchar un poco más en radio en el valle central de California.

Después el grupo decide firmar para la Cia disquera de Fonovisa Records donde hasta la fecha se han grabado 28 producciones musicales incluyendo los acoplados con grandes éxitos Radiales y en Ventas.

El primer éxito nacional que mantuvieron en los primeros lugares de popularidad en estados unidos y en lagunas ciudades de México fue “EL MENEITO” con la versión al estilo de “EXTERMINADOR” , otras cumbias con éxito fueron : EL TIBURON , EL CHUPACABRAS , EL BAILE DE SANTA CLAUS , entre otras y enseguida no se dejo esperar el siguiente gran éxito del grupo y que los definiría en uno de los mejores grupos para la interpretación del corrido , el famoso corrido de LAS MONJITAS que le dio vuelta a ESTADOS UNIDOS , MEXICO ,CENTRO Y SUDAMERICA , otro de sus famosos corridos fue CONTRABANDO EN LOS HUEVOS este ultimo ya no se podría tocar en las radios de México ya que la secretaria de comunicaciones de este país , prohibió que se tocara el corrido .

Sus grabaciones contienen grandes corridos, apezar de que no fueron expuestos al publico en radio han tenido como siempre gran éxito en
Ventas.

El grupo no solo ha tenido éxitos en cumbias chuscas, temas bravíos, corridos pesados como les llaman, si no también en música romántica, que les ha funcionado bastante bien con temas como: DEPENDO CADA DIA MAS DE TI, EL PERDEDOR, NOS TIENEN ENVIDIA, TOMAME O DEJAME Y CADA VEZ QUE ME BESAS que se han colocado en los primeros lugares en diferentes zonas de México y la unión Americana.

Los temas bravíos que también han tenido éxitos , son ENTRE PERICO Y PERICO , ENTRE COBIJAS Y TU PICAHIELO .No podemos dejar de mencionar los temas de reflexión que se han incluido en cada producción del “GRUPO EXTERMINADOR” como :NUESTRA CULPA ,MI AMIGO MI PADRE , EN PRIMERA PLANA , DURO AL CORAZON , DEL CAMPO A LA CIUDAD ,INFIERNO Y GLORIA , LA PEDRADA Y A CALZON QUITADO estos dos últimos temas hablan claro sobre la política .

Ahora en su nueva producción musical agrega unos cambios radiales e incluye algunos covers
Esta nueva producción se titula adicto a ti, esta es su nueva grabación 2007 para Fonovisa Records , donde se desprende este material el primer sencillo inédito titulado :

“UN PAR DE ALMOHAS”

El tema habla de la separación de dos personas que se aman y sin embargo no pueden estar unidas, en cambio si imagináramos que esas almohadas vacías se juntaran, que no pasaría.

Overall Meaning
