Although Gryffin has recently been on the cusp of a major breakthrough, he began his musical journey growing up as a classically trained pianist, before expanding his sonic palette with guitar at an early age. He played in bands to initially hone his instrumental abilities, until he dove head first into the world of music production at the University of Southern California. Throughout college and beyond, Gryffin further refined his skills that have blossomed into his artistic mastery that is appreciated by his counterparts and adoring fans around the world. In his genre, artists typically DJ to showcase their talents, but live performance is where his heart lies in capturing the essence of his work.
With a world-debut at this past SnowGlobe Music Festival, Gryffin unveiled his anticipated live performance to finally connect with those who have been behind his impressive play counts. His passion and love for musicianship, and artistry within music shined through as he performed with live instrumentation (guitar, keyboard, synths, & drum pads) in a continuous dance music format to keep up the energy characteristic of DJ sets. Since this performance was a resounding success, the excitement is brewing for his next two sold-out shows at Los Angeles’ The Roxy, and New York’s Bowery Ballroom to close out his first-ever live tour.
Following the conclusion of the tour, Gryffin made the leap to his first original production, “Heading Home” featuring Josef Salvat, which immediately became #1 on Spotify’s Global Viral 50 chart, US Viral Chart, and accumulated a million plays in one week after being released via Darkroom/Interscope Records. It’s already looking like 2016 is going to be Gryffin’s biggest year yet.

Ah
Ah
Ah
I feel okay
Talk to her face, about it
I act insane
Everyday
Don't go that way
My mind will break, and shatter
You call my name
Everyday
Everyday
Please
I want love
I want love
I want you
I want you
I want love
I want love
In the sunshine
In the rain
I want love
I want love
I want you
I want you
I want love
I want love
In the sunshine
In the rain
I want love
I want love
In the sunshine
In the rain
Your friends complain
They think I'm too unstable
But they're all fake
Anyway
Anyway
Please
I want love
I want love
I want you
I want you
I want love
I want love
In the sunshine
In the rain
Please
I want love
I want love
I want you
I want you
I want love
I want love
In the sunshine
In the rain
(In the rain)
I want love
I want love
I want you
I want you
I want love
I want love
In the sunshine
In the rain
I want love
I want you
I want love
I want love
In the sunshine
In the rain
The lyrics to Gryffin's song "I Want Love" are quite simple, but the repetition of certain lines and phrases emphasizes the desperation and yearning of the singer. The lines "I feel okay, talk to her face, about it, I act insane, everyday, everyday" suggest that the singer is struggling with their mental health and perhaps trying to talk to someone about it. However, they feel like they are going crazy and can't control their emotions. The line "Don't go that way, my mind will break and shatter" hints at the severity of the situation and the fear of losing control entirely.
The chorus, "I want love, I want you, I want love, in the sunshine, in the rain" reinforces the idea that love is what the singer desperately needs to feel better. The repetition of "I want love" emphasizes the intensity of their desire, and the mention of both sunshine and rain suggests that they want love in all circumstances. The line "Your friends complain, they think I'm too unstable, but they're all fake anyway" suggests that the singer's mental health struggles are causing problems in their relationships, and they feel like the people around them don't understand or care.
Overall, the lyrics to "I Want Love" convey a sense of desperation and longing for connection and understanding. The repetition of certain lines and phrases emphasizes these feelings and highlights the singer's struggle with their mental health.

Not really a cliffhanger, doorbell looked basic and cheap, Benji's family is rich. It's not Benji's door. Plus they need a storyline for season 3
