1) Guardian was formed in 1982 by bassist David Bach, vocalist Paul Cawley, and and drummer, Rikk Hart. They originally named themselves "Fusion" and added David Caro on guitars. They were signed to Enigma records in 1985 and changed their name to Gardian, soon after replaced Caro with Tony Palacios on guitar. They released two demos under the Gardian name called Fusion (released 1984) and Voyager (released 1987). Their debut album "First Watch" was released in 1989 under the final name change "Guardian", but shortly after Cawley and Hart left the band due to the rigors of non-stop touring.
In 1990, Cawley was replaced by Jamie Rowe (formerly of "Tempest") as the new vocalist and Hart was replaced by Karl Ney on drums. This lineup remained consistant throughout their last English studio album "Bottle Rocket" in 1997. However, in 2002 Guardian released "Dime", their 3rd Spanish effort, yet with all new material. David Bach could not be a part of this album due to time constraints. Their 1993 album "Miracle Mile" was their most popular commercially successful album.
In the words of Jamie Rowe, "There will be another Guardian album." Let's hope so.

Guardian Lyrics

One starry night
I looked up and I prayed I’d change
Inside
For a moment I think
In fact I know I cried
Cause I knew right away
My past had finally died
You’re the miracle
You’ll always be
The miracle
And you mean so much to me
You mean so much
After so many years
Of meaningless Iife
I’m so amazed
By my new found sight
Got a friend that’s so wise
And loving too
Wonderful counselor
I love you!!
You’re the miracle
You’ll always be
The miracle
And you mean so much to me
So look into space
Open your heart and see
As deep as is wide
The love of Christ is real
You’re the miracle
You’ll always be
The miracle
And you mean so much to me
You’re the miracle
You’ll always be
The miracle
He’s life eternally
You’re the miracle
You’ll always be
The miracle
And you mean so much to me
You’re the miracle
You’ll always be
The miracle
The Guardian's song Miracle is a song about personal transformation and finding hope in faith. The lyrics describe a moment of realization and change that occurred for the singer on a starry night. The first verse talks about how the singer prayed for change, specifically a change from their past, and after that moment, they knew that their past was behind them. The second verse references a newfound perspective on life after living for many years without meaning. The singer also expresses gratitude for a wise and loving friend.
The chorus is an affirmation of faith in God and the belief that He is the miracle, always present and always meaning so much to the singer. The third verse is a call to action, encouraging listeners to open their hearts and see the love of Christ. The song ends by repeating the chorus, emphasizing that God is the miracle that gives life eternally.
Overall, the song's message is one of hope and transformation through faith. It speaks to the idea that change is possible and that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel, even for those who have lived without purpose for many years.
