I think that Jim makes a good point. Sure he might be a millionaire, which might make it pretty hard for people to respect that his life has been hard, but he's right, you can't get your childhood back. It would seem nearly impossible for Tiger to not have a lot of internal battles going on (like we all do).

one of my favorite lines from a movie is from Heartburn. In it a wife who has just discovered her husband is still cheating is asked if how a wife can not know her husband is cheating. She answers "You know something is wrong but you are in the day to dayness of the marriage"

How could Elin not know? Jim is 100% right. She wanted to keep up that lifestyle.

Anything Jim Carrey says, I agree with it. The guy gave us Ace Ventura.

Jim Carrey is not saying what Tiger did is right, he's saying that it shouldn't all be on him. And I agree.

Jim Carey is just saying what everyone is thinking.

hold up, are they saying that the wronged woman, the cheated wife, was a "willing participant" in her husband's infidelity? are they ACTUALLY alleging that a CHEATED PERSON is responsible for their PARTNER'S INFIDELITY? w...tf?

I think his wife was a "willing participant" until his infidelities became hit the news, that's when it became disgraceful for her. If Tiger is often away on the road, she must suspect that he's going to cheat on her now and then, he's a celeb, it's too easy for him.

I agree with Carey except for the part about his father. As said, Tiger's rich as hell. I don't think he regrets his father being strict on him, at least not anymore if he once did. But for the most part, Tiger owes nothing to these mistresses, and the notion that his wife didn't know after all this time and all these mistresses is a little bit of a stretch to me.
