I don't know if you're ever gonna look at this comment but I'll just leave it here. You are the only guy on youtube that has perfectly laid down Izzy's part of the song too :) Gotta love Izzy. He's a genius (Not that Slash isn't). There are a lot of other songs where Izzy's parts are really fucking great like Dust n Bones, 14 years, double talkin jive.. thanks man, youre right, Izzy's work shines a lot in several songs, remember Rocket Queen.
I noticed most people assume all of the cool parts should be played by Slash, most of them dont even consider the possibility that maybe it wasnt Slash who came up with those licks, solo, riff, arrangement, or even lyrics.
Izzy was a very important part of this band.
Thats why I like to pay tribute to him when I make a GnR cover, and I let people know which parts were played by Slash and which ones by Izzy.
