Axl's poignant verse during the track "Prostitute," "Ask Yourself, What I Would Do/To Prostitute Myself,/To Live With Fortune And Shame" is the most brilliant insight we've had into his feelings on the breaking apart of the old GN'R. This entire time of waiting to release the record has become this man's life, his reason to get up in the morning, his daily connection with what passes for reality when you're a megastar named W. Axl Rose.
