H-Town is an American R&B hip hop band that was formed in 1992 by three friends at Jack Yates High School in Houston, Texas. The group originally consisted of: Kevin "Dino" Conner, his fraternal twin brother Solomon "Shazam" Conner, and their long-time friend Darryl "G.I." Jackson. They took the name of the group, "H-Town," from the local nickname for the City of Houston.
It took H-Town six years before their first big break came. Dino and Shazam grew up surrounded by musicians and singers. All three band members went to pageants, talent shows and plays before they worked with a local producer. When they began to work with him, he sent their tape to Luther Campbell, who wasn't overly impressed.
The producer intentionally made Campbell miss a flight and dragged him back to the studio where he heard H-Town sing live. Campbell signed the group, joined up with producer Bishop "Stick" Burrell, and they went into the studio to start work on their debut album, Fever for Da Flavor.
On January 28, 2003, 28-year-old Dino Conner and his girlfriend Teshya Rae Weisent had just left a recording studio when their vehicle was struck by a SUV that ran a red light. Both Dino and Teshya Weisent were killed.
Three people witnessed the tragedy, but all fled the scene. One man, Juan Diaz, was later apprehended.
At the time, H-Town was working on what would become their fourth album.
H-Town finally released their reunion album, Imitations of Life, on October 12, 2004. The Remaining members of the group are in the works of making a H-Town Comeback album very soon, it is confirmed on their MySpace page.

Yeah all right y'all oh oh oo alrighty listen
[Verse 1:]
Since the very first day I fell in love
It's a wonder how I knew what love was
All the times I played so many hearts (it's part of changing into a man)
Runnin in and out relationships
Always thought that fad was definitely of the past
And never before me
[Chorus:]
There's so much I'd rather do
Like be in my bed gettin fresh with you
But instead I have to do with bein content with tongue kissing you
Know I'm wrong to lust for you
I'm out my mind girl wanting you
So many things I'd rather do
But beggars can't be choosey too
[Verse 2:]
Girl it comes to mind thousand times how to get inside I can't lie
Just to be with you baby (a fairy tale to me)
No roly poly quick screw you
No hanky panky less you want me to
I said I'll do what you say say you want me to do
How can I choose a mood when beggin you
[Chorus/Ending:]
I changed my style from runnin around
I just want to be a real man and stay home
Because I can't be choosey
Bein promiscuous is not for me
If I will be a freak I will be a freak for me lady
By time you take em off I'll be still ready
Oh come on show are you ready ready
It seems like you're nice and ready
Alright alright alright
The song "Beggars Can't Be Choosey" by H-Town is a love song about a man's struggle to balance his desires and his commitment to a relationship. The lyrics suggest that the man has had multiple relationships in the past and has never really committed to anyone. He is plagued by lust for his current partner but realizes that he cannot have everything he wants in life. The title "Beggars Can't Be Choosey" highlights the idea that sometimes we have to take what we can get, even if it's not exactly what we want.
In the first verse, the singer reflects on his past relationships and how he never thought about commitment. He had always thought that commitment was something from the past that was not relevant to him. However, now he has fallen in love and realizes that he wants to be with this person for the long term. He is struggling with the balance between his lustful desires and his commitments to his partner.
In the second verse, the singer expresses his desire to be with his partner sexually but also acknowledges that he needs to respect her wishes. He is open to doing whatever she wants him to do, as he wants to be with her badly. However, he understands that he cannot force his will upon her.
Overall, the song "Beggars Can't Be Choosey" is a relatable take on the struggle of balancing desires and commitments in relationships. It explores the universal theme of wanting something badly but realizing that life doesn't always allow us to have everything we want.
