Leather
H.E.D. Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Black leather fits on you so nicely
(Nicely nicely)
You claim you only came because like me
(Like me like me)
And I'll never know the truth bout you but I
(But I)
Will court you all the same tonight
Black leather
You wanna be my part time lover
(Lover)
Yes it fits on you so sweet
Black leather
You wanna be my part time lover
(No no)
Yes it fits on you so sweet
(Oh no no)

Black leather
You wanna be my part time lover
(Lover no no)
Yes it fits on you so sweet
(Fits on you)
Black leather
You wanna be my part time lover
(Lover)
Yes it fits on you so sweet

(Fits on you so sweet oh no oh no)
(Fits on you so sweet oh no)

Overall Meaning

The song "Leather" by H.E.D. is a sensual and provocative track about the allure and attraction of a woman who wears black leather. The first verse "Black leather fits on you so nicely" sets the tone for the song and expresses the singer's admiration for the way the leather looks on her. This creates an air of mystery and intrigue, which is enhanced by the repetition of the phrase "like me" and the ambiguous nature of their relationship.

The chorus of the song repeats the phrase "Black Leather" over and over again, as if to emphasize the power and seduction of the clothing. The singer then asks if she wants to be his "part time lover" and again comments on how sweet the leather looks on her. Throughout the song, there is a sense of wanting and desire, but also a hint of danger and unpredictability.

I love how this holds its shape . This is not a mask . Ha ha ha funny but necessary disclaimer. I was trying to make a suede head for a teddy bear that the material would hold its shape. This is the way to go ! Thank you for your crafting excellence. love your stuff.

I love the idea of using this as a bag, kind of tempted to put an across body strap from ear to ear

I like that yours has the ears and more of a face look to it then the others ones I have seen out there. I made one (someone else pattern) and added buttons to the face area for eyes

I love this now i can use it to hold my leather bowler. I hope you will one day make a curved backpack like the type they use on motorbike or a mask backpack something unusual. This is great but i doubt the right shape for a backpack also where would i put the straps
