The lyrics to HKT48's song ロックだよ、人生は… speak about the importance of the younger generation taking control and not relying on the older generation to fix the problems of society. The song emphasizes the idea of moving forward with passion and energy, not accepting the status quo, and actively striving for peace and progress. The lyrics warn against complacency and discourage the notion of waiting for someone else to make a change.
The verses use contrasting imagery to emphasize the urgency of the situation. The use of words like "missile," "war," and "destruction" contrast with phrases like "Love & Peace," "diamond-like sweat," and "rock and roll." This juxtaposition aims to create a sense of urgency and the need to act now.
Overall, the lyrics of the song emphasize the importance of actively engaging with the world and striving for change. They encourage the listener to be proactive and take charge of their own lives and futures.
