Autumn
HUNTAR Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Cold cheeks, dry lips
You feel this sudden change
For sure we strangers
We see all the darker days

Somebody take me, now
Somebody take me, now
Somebody take me, now
Somebody take me
Somebody let me know
Somebody let me know
Somebody let me know
Somebody let me see her

I got a whole lot of love for the ones so bitter
She got ice on her torns, and it makes true winter
You gotta give me a chill when you make me shiver
I got a whole lot of love for the ones so bitter
Trees fall each stroll every year
We see they say
You call don't stop,
I like this season's break
Somebody take me now
Somebody take me now
Somebody take me now
Somebody take me
Somebody let me know
Somebody let me know
Somebody let me know
Somebody let me see her
I got a whole lot of love for the ones so bitter
She got ice on her torns and it makes true winter
You gotta give me a chill when you make me shiver
I got a whole lot of love for the ones so bitter
It's so bitter, so bitter
so bitter, so bitter

so bitter, so bitter
so bitter, so bitter

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to HUNTAR's song Autumn describe a feeling of change and uncertainty as the seasons shift from warm and comfortable to cold and unfamiliar. The first stanza depicts physical symptoms of the changing weather, such as cold cheeks and dry lips, and a sense of estrangement from others as they navigate the darker days. The chorus, which repeats the phrase "Somebody take me now" and "Somebody let me know," suggests a yearning for guidance or connection during this uncertain time.

The second stanza introduces the theme of love and bitterness, with the lyrics "I got a whole lot of love for the ones so bitter." This could be interpreted as a reference to the difficulty of maintaining relationships during times of change and uncertainty, or as a reflection on the emotional complexity of the season itself. The lines "She got ice on her torns, and it makes true winter" and "You gotta give me a chill when you make me shiver" further illustrate the idea of love and bitterness as intertwined and inseparable.

The final stanza references the annual falling of trees and the sense of continuity that it represents, even in the face of personal change. The repeated refrain of "so bitter" could be seen as either a lamentation or an acceptance of the challenges and contradictions inherent in this season of transition.

Overall, the lyrics to Autumn capture both the physical and emotional aspects of the autumn season, with imagery that is both visceral and introspective.

(so bitter) [like 6 times lol]

So at first, I thought he was saying 'I got a whole lotta love for the one sole victor', but after looking at some lyric sites, I've decided that it is properly 'one so bitter' which makes sense given that the album name that this song is on is 'bitter' lol. Anywho, the first verse is definitely the most difficult to make out, but those lyrics are completely by ear. I didn't trust the lyric sites with that verse haha. I hope those are correct, and I hope they help! :)
