It'll always remind me of when I didn't have a car and had to bike everywhere. I first discovered Haim back then and listened to this song, amongst their others, while biking and it will always draw me back to the streets roadways, and bike paths of those many places. What sets Haim apart from other groups is not that they are female or that they are sisters; it is the fact they can resonate a fresh and original sound that has an original beat and is complimented by excellent vocals w/ tremendous range! Very few groups have this quality!

Loved this song long before I knew what it was about. But anyone who has felt unrequited love should listen to it, to remember the other side of the story that to you seems a tragedy. If you have ever seen through the other side of the looking glass, you will understand the ecstacy of having the courage to realize your own need for liberty and personal happiness. You don't wish to cause inevitable suffering to someone who mistakenly believes you are crucial to their own contentment, but trying in futility to avoid this pain of life for them is not worth your peace of mind.

I didn’t listen to HAIM before August 9 (LA Eras Tour, closing night), so that’s how I discovered it 😂 I had it forced on me, they were one of the two opening acts (and they’re also one of the bestest friends of my fave, Taylor, but I previously didn’t see that as a reason to listen to HAIM 🫣).

Hearing it live was amazing. It was my first ever concert too. Listening to it now, on my phone, I really do prefer it in-person. Every musical beat, beating everywhere in your body ‘cause it’s so LOUD.

And I do have to emphasize how LOUD it is in a stadium !!!! even earplugs for an 80%-deaf girl like me wasn’t totally enough. But it helped immensely and made it tolerable. (Guys, bring your noise-canceling headphones TOO, don’t just bring only the premium quality earplugs. The people that I saw, didn’t wear headphones, so I assume everyone just wears earplugs. I was often worried for everyone, even though everyone was having the absolute time of their lives).

Charlie Gill What do you mean by good? MMMBop was catchy but it was TOO simple. These girls know how to make simple pop music that still has complexities that make it interesting. Their take on pop-rock is very unique. At least for the times we're in.

in reference to all ya'lls hate: HAIM however have managed to stay relevant with more than one song in the Top 40's, Hanson got as far as being 3 cute blonde pretty boys with one trick up their sleave, hence their incredibky low ticket prices when they tour: No one wants to listen to Hanson for $80 because they were never and will never be as talented.

Honestly, I never heard of them until SNL, but I think they're absolutely fantastic. I immediately bought their CD the next day. It's so refreshing to see real musicians in a day when we are force-fed other studio-contrived garbage music from TV talent shows.

I was heartbroken when I first discovered about this song in 2016. And I must say that it was the most important heartbreak I had in my life because I get to know the music of Haim. And now in 2020, had moved one with that lost love but my love for Haim only gets deeper.

I had this song stuck in my head from when I heard it at the grocery store. The internet helped me find it by humming some of it after months of it bugging me. Now that I find it, I'm just kind of sad because my gf of ten years broke up with me not long ago.
