The lyrics to Habakuk's song "Zrodlo" describe a river flowing through a gorge, carving its own path. The walls of the gorge grow higher on both sides, with plains supposedly at the top. The more water there is, the deeper the river flows, taking the shadows of the slopes upon itself. The sand escapes from under the current, twisting its way into its own depths, pulled by a force. On the high walls, there are traces of colors and grooves, telling the story of the river and the history of these shores. Shadows of fallen trees, traces of eroded stones, and muddy sediments gathered despite their resistance. In the distance, a faint light cuts through the earth, as the ground begins to merge over it. Both sides try to stop the river with gravel and clay, but the water hisses and absorbs, and it lives on. It twists, avoids, seeps, climbs, and foams, going against the edges. Because the source, the origin, still beats.

There are places where the water, almost frozen, lies in the mud beneath a layer of dirty green. There, traces vanish quicker than the ones who left them, hidden in the invisible, swampy traps. But the source still beats, pushing its pulse between the slopes. So, there is a current, though hidden from the eye. The sky is hardly visible, the depths cool and dark. Let the avalanches of rocks fall, let the merciless slopes of the gorge connect. Because what else shapes the future spaces if not an underground river? The caves will wash out from the rocks, revealing golden veins. Because the source, the origin, still beats.
