It's hard to believe this was 20 years ago... it's as fresh today as it was when it came out. I wonder how much the album release date had to do with the band not going much further.

Such a shame that Halfcocked didn't find more success. They were better than a lot of bands that did make it bigger. I still remember seeing them open for Powerman 5000, Static-X, and Dope way back in early 2000, like a full year and a half before their album came out. Plus they had this song on the Ozzfest sampler in 2001 even though they weren't on the tour, and their song Sober was on the Dracula 2000 soundtrack. It really seemed for awhile like they might take off.

@xrockchild The lead singer is now a Guidance Counselor in the Valley. What happened to them? The music industry happened. They were on Powerman 5000's Singer Spyder's label. Powerman got dropped by Dreamworks Records right before their big summer tour which had Half Cocked opening for it.... So they never went out. Plus Half-Cocked's album came out on September 11, 2001. Needless to say, it was sort of overlooked that day.
