If it were not for the light of guidance from Allah, there would be no rulers in their palaces.

لولا سراج النور ما تكون الخدم تقرى
If it were not for the light of guidance from Allah, there would be no readers of the holy book.

ولي يشهد بزور يا بابا، ولي شهد بزور راه مليوح على برا
Whoever bears false witness, oh father, is a liar and will bear a shameful burden.

أه مليوح على برا حيت شاهد في كلام الله
Such a burden is like salt spread over the earth, since they witnessed falsely about the words of Allah.

زلغت بيه الدنيا وزاهقتو وبقا مغرور
The world has tempted them and they became proud and lost.

سيهتيني عاري عليك بابا يا بابا الحبيب
Oh beloved father, you caused me to be lost and exposed.

والله ماننساك، والله ماننساك أبابا ولا نقطع رجاك
I swear by Allah, we will never forget you, oh father, and will always seek your intercession.

Oh father, I call upon my Lord for comfort and support.

Oh father, witness my state and see me complain to Allah.
