Celebrate
Hammond Fred Lyrics

Woah
(I know He lives)
Woah
(I believe He lives)
Woah
(I'm sure He lives)
Woah
(I'm sure He lives)
How ya'll doin' today?
(I know He lives)
The Savior lives
(The Savior lives)
Woah

It's time to celebrate the Savior and His worth
Let's shout because we know, He lives and we are served
His love has set us free our enemies defeated
If it means you would be, come on and lift up your hands

Everybody lift your hands if you know that Jesus is worthy
Open up and give Him praise let's do it in a hurry
If you love Him let's glorify in the song and in the dance
To know the Savior lives come on and lift up your hands

To understand just why we praise, let me tell you how it all went down
The news spread so very fast, people came from miles around
This would be the day Christ would be crucified
He took His last breath, He hung His head and He died

They took my Savior down from off that rugged cross
They laid Him in a tomb it seemed all hope was truly lost
But the third day came along and brought the rhythm of life
The stone was rolled away, an Angel proudly proclaimed

(He lives, He lives)
He lives
Christ is risen
(Christ is risen just like He said)
Our Lord and Savior
(The Lord and Savior is no longer dead)
Rejoice and celebrate He lives He lives Jesus is alive

Everybody lift your hands if you know that Jesus is worthy
Open up and give Him praise let's do it in a hurry
If you love Him let's glorify in the song and in the dance
To know the Savior lives come on and lift up your hands

Everybody lift your hands if you know that Jesus is worthy
Open up and give Him praise let's do it in a hurry
If you love Him let's glorify in the song and in the dance
We know the Savior lives come on and lift up your hands

(He lives, He lives)
He lives, He lives
Christ is risen just like He said
(Christ is risen just like He said)
Our Lord and Savior
(The Lord and Savior is no longer dead)
Rejoice and celebrate He lives He lives Jesus is alive

He lives, He lives
(He lives, He lives)
The Savior is risen just like He said
(Christ is risen just like He said)
Christ the Lord is no longer dead
(The Lord and Savior is no longer dead)

Here’s mine; In 2004 I was in a car accident with a drunk driver I went into a coma woke up in a black room of nothingness for what felt like 10 minutes although I had no concept of time. I looked up and saw a angel with wings descending down with a smirk on his face while he stuck out his hand. I grabbed it and we started to fly above the earth into space we flew for so long that I fell asleep or passed out. I woke up and I was standing on top of the clouds looking at miles and miles of clouds. There was nothing else except for a gold door that had gemstones and Jewels embedded in the door. I opened it and I saw the figure of a man shrouded in the light which was Jesus and two angels standing on either side pointing directly at the door I came in, I looked behind God (Jesus) and these angels and saw my grandfather who died three years before at a temple praying. I went back through the door and woke up in the hospital. So yes Jesus Christ is Real and the Bible is true.

My wife went into labor with our twin daughters at 23 weeks in 2004, gave birth, and with the prayers of many and the grace of God they pulled through and are both 18 & healthy today. I remember at one particular low point after a doctor told us the girls wouldn't survive childbirth, I heard this song on the radio & it picked me up off the ground. Thanks to Jesus & thank you for this incredible song Mr. Hammond!
