Okay, I'm a 64 yr old man, playing Hogwarts, I've never made it through a movie and never read the books, I just have an "idea" of Hogwarts. It took me an hour to figure this out. Essentially point the orange tower towards the sun till it glows then point the blue light tower towards the key shape till it glows. It will match the symbols on the door.

There's another symbol that looks exactly like the key one that I was casting the shadow on, so when it didn't work I was seriously going crazy thinking my game was bugged or something. Poppy's annoying advice wasn't helping at all either lol.
