Her music and visual art employs an aesthetic of hyperreality and heavily produced cuteness in tension with sincerity.
Diamond's musical journey began in 2012 when she met GFOTY through a mutual friend. GFOTY then introduced her to A.G. Cook, a pivotal figure in the PC Music label. Their collaboration began when a scheduled vocalist failed to appear for a recording session with Cook. In the same year, they worked on Diamond's first solo song titled "Attachment", although her debut single became "Pink and Blue" in October 2013. This song introduced Diamond's unique style, characterized by a synthetic, lullaby-like quality. The attention garnered by "Pink and Blue" not only marked the start of her music career but also helped bring attention to the emerging PC Music label.
In January 2014, Diamond featured on A.G. Cook's "Keri Baby". Diamond made her live debut in April 2014 at Basement in London. She released "Attachment" as her second single later that month. This melancholic ballad explored modern relationships and showcased her distinctive high-pitched melody with farcical harmonies.
Her third solo single, "Every Night," arrived in November 2014. "Every Night" addressed themes of desire and exhibited a bolder personality compared to her earlier work. Her childlike, staccato vocals were supported by catchy harmonies, and the song received nearly 200,000 plays on SoundCloud within two weeks, and it became Diamond's first song to appear on a Billboard chart, reaching 28th on the Emerging Artists chart.
In March 2015, Diamond performed at the PC Music showcase during the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, where her performance received positive reviews. She continued to make strides in her career, performing as part of a PC Music show in Brooklyn, New York, in May 2015.
Diamond's musical evolution included the release of her song "Hi" in November 2015, accompanied by a music video produced in collaboration with i-D magazine. After having the resources to produce her first music video, she selected "Hi" as a "way of tying up my older material, and a good way of introducing my next phase".
February 2016 saw Hannah Diamond collaborate with Charli XCX on a track titled "Paradise". In October that year, Diamond released the new single "Fade Away" with a lyric video via PC Music. On 22 December 2016, Diamond released a free single, "Make Believe", which was produced by easyFun and A.G. Cook.
On 13 December 2017, she released a new mix, "Soon I won't see you at all", which contains three new tracks, one of which is a cover of "Concrete Angel" by Gareth Emery. It was made available on YouTube for streaming with a download link.
On 16 November 2018, Diamond released "True". On 17 September 2019, Diamond released the song "Part of Me" with Danny L Harle. Just over a month later, on 30 October, Diamond released the single "Invisible" with its accompanying music video. On 13 November, Diamond released another single titled "Love Goes On". The song was released with an accompanying music video.
Throughout her journey, Diamond had been working on a full-length album, originally planned for release in 2015. The debut studio album, titled 'Reflections,' was eventually released in November 2019, prior to "The Invisible Tour" that began on 4 December 2019.
On 5 February 2020, she announced that she will be the opening act in 4 shows for Carly Rae Jepsen’s Dedicated Tour. The Reflections remix album was released in April 2020.
In 2020, Diamond featured on the remix for 100 gecs' "xXXi_wud_nvrstøp_ÜXXx" alongside Estonian rapper Tommy Cash, and appeared on A. G. Cook's two 2020 albums 7G and Apple. In 2021, Diamond appeared on the Danny L Harle single, "Boing Beat", from his debut album Harlecore, and featured on the remix for A. G. Cook's "The Darkness", alongside Sarah Bonito of Kero Kero Bonito. She appeared on labelmate Namasenda's debut Unlimited Ammo mixtape in October 2021, and designed much of the project's single and album artwork.
Diamond released the single "Staring at the Ceiling" on 24 February 2022. A year later, she released "Affirmations" as the second single from her then upcoming album. "Perfect Picture" was released as the third single on August 17. The same day, her second album with the same name was announced for release on October 6. The fourth single, "Poster Girl", was released on 14 September. Her upcoming second studio album, Perfect Picture, is set to be released on 6 October 2023.

You were the end, the beginning
The one I found myself wishing wouldn't fade away
You were the light in the darkness
You made me laugh and cry harder than I can explain
Was I just there when you were lonely?
I felt how you thought it should feel to hold me
How could you give me something that wasn't there?
Wasn't there?
Why don't you care?
Never wanna hear you a-apologise again
(Apologise again)
Never wanna see that look
The look in your eyes again
Said you were sorry, you weren't though
Said you had told me, but still you
Lied every time that I listened
Out of the rain
Never again
I let you into my life, never really opened my eyes
So you'd look up at me
You said the words, I believed you
But now you're leaving me
Thinking they don't mean a thing
Was I just there when you were lonely?
I felt how you thought it should feel to hold me
How could you give me something that wasn't there?
Wasn't there?
Why don't you care?
Never wanna hear you a-apologise again
(Apologise again)
Never wanna see that look
The look in your eyes again
(Said you)
Said you were sorry, you weren't though
Said you had told me, but still you
Lied every time that I listened
Out of the rain
Never again
Never wanna see that look
The look in your eyes again
Never wanna hear you a-apologise again
Said you were sorry, you weren't though
Said you had told me, but still you
Lied every time that I listened
Over and over again
(Never wanna hear you a-apologise again)
(Apologise again)
(Never wanna see that look)
(The look in your eyes again)
Said you were sorry, you weren't though
Said you had told me, but still you
Lied every time that I listened
Out of the rain
Never again
Said you were sorry, you weren't though
Said you had told me, but still you
Lied every time that I listened
Out of the rain
(Don't wake up)
Never again
Said you were sorry, you weren't though
Said you had told me, but still you
Lied every time that I listened
Out of the rain
(Don't wake up)
Never again

Hannah Diamond fills me with such a unique feeling

These 3 songs are among her absolute best. I'm still a little bitter about the fact that Reflections was basically all songs she'd already released, but I'm especially bitter about these songs, because these 3 really feel like they belong as a separate project.

I need more of this kind of music 🎶

The vocal writing and production on The Ending is so fucking tight. From the super detailed autotune, to those little glitches at the end of each line, and the amazing rhythm of the 'going or gone' chorus... Damn.

True it's a masterpiece
