HANSEL
Lorentzian Lineshaper
Label: D-Trash Records
"This was a tough CD to review, and even a tougher one to listen to, which is probably why I liked it so much."
Hansel is Alan Fux (vocals, samples, arrangements, orchestrations) and M.X. Lopex (samples, sequences, programming).
Hansel is also a clash of genres and a study of the thermodynamics of disparate sounds traversing against the grain. Pranksters and poets, Hansel is what Suicide would be today if modern computer technology was available.
Little things on the CD become the crux, like the glitchcore rendition of Pat Benatar's "Heartbreaker", or a sample of strings, which, I believe, were taken from W.A. Mozart's "Requiem" mass on "Cypress Millwood".
Articulated throughout the CD is the notion of a chronic collision of molecules and galaxies, best evident on the punch and duck sequence of "Hookwormz" and "The Uncertainty Principle", but also in the "advanced technologies developed by monkeys" lyrics expressed on the latter track.
The track most resembling accessibility, "We Are Important", collapses into the manic flyswatter infestation of "Zlotnik" and a broader pattern develops, which can only be ascertained if one is willing to sift through the chaotic data streams and listen to the many paths of sound to reach an independent conclusion.

Five dudes bound by an oath of rock 'n' roll. They roam the wastelands of standard, boring, paper dry, modern Brit pop bands, leaving them in their wake with their big hair, big anthem, hard hitting, glam rock style.
Glowing like a beacon in the cold dark night.
Hansel is just so hot rite now.
GENERATE HUMANS
Hansel Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I generated the phosphate to fuse with my old school hate
Synced to the beat decomposed fucking smelly feet
The shit's far from ill it sucks dick pickle dills
Standing here at your grave with the likes of Pat Magill
Spittin' on the head stone I bet you fuckin' died alone
And now a multitude snacks your fucking bones
Failed to achieve the excellence that you'd once shown
Are they laughing at me, what the fuck is that sound?
Ready for an inoculation?
The year is 1954, and I'm at the door
With my thumbs balls-deep in a Croatian whore
Knife fighting at the ice cream social, fucking hardcore
You stand stunned at my sight, my beats are fuckin' tight
Try to hold a candle to me but the flames are in my pee
Suck my piss bitches, or else leave with a mouth of stitches
Your arms are now replaced with some fucking titses
The way we operate, motherfucking inoculate
You got a cherry red Stratocaster, you're fuckin' great
Now shut the fuck up while I blast beats on your fucking face
Your last moment on earth, realize you're eternally replaced
Bitch
"Generate Humans" is a song by the band Hansel that has some dark and aggressive lyrics. The song starts off with the singer mocking the listener, saying they couldn't possibly be ready for him. He then talks about how he generated the phosphate, which is a molecule found in DNA, to fuse with his old school hate. The lyrics focus heavily on death and decay, with the singer standing at a grave spitting on a headstone, imagining that the person died alone and is now being snacked on by a multitude of creatures. The singer taunts the listener, telling them they have failed to achieve excellence and are now buried deep in the ground, wondering if people are laughing at them.
The second verse is equally graphic, with the singer describing a violent scene at an ice cream social. He brags about his beats being tight and tells the listener to suck his piss or risk getting their mouth stitched shut. The singer also talks about how the listener's arms have been replaced with 'titses,' which is a slang word for breasts. The song ends with the singer telling the listener to shut up while he blasts beats on their face, and that their time on Earth is up and they're eternally replaced.
Overall, the lyrics are quite aggressive and provocative, with a lot of focus on death and decay. The song has an industrial and heavy metal sound, which fits well with the dark lyrics. The line "Try to hold a candle to me but the flames are in my pee" is a particularly interesting one, as it's a clever play on words and shows off the singer's confidence and humor.

Dear Dr. Emily Zarka,
Thank you for doing your research in your topic of the origins of Hansel and Gretel and the use of your sources used in your research and showing them in the description of the video. As we are dealing with the issues of fake news and disinformation from organizations that wish to distort reality for their goals. Seeing that you cited sources and being annotated gives me hope for the future of factual information.
I also found it interesting that you mentioned that one of the origins of Hansel and Gretel was from a old French story that was brought to Germany.
Keep up the good work and I do have a video suggestion. :) Can do a video about Kitsunes? I think it would be interesting.
Sincerely,
Connor Compton

What I like about Hansel and Gretel is how they rescue themselves by being clever and observant. Also, why did the Grimm brothers hate stepmothers so much?
@janeyrevanescence12
In a lot of original variations of famous Brothers Grimm stories (ie Hansel and Gretel and Snow White) it was the mother who was the original antagonist. However, the Brothers Grimm were strong believers in a unified Germany (during their lifetimes it was a loose confederation) and wanted to present German values, one of which was a loving family. Since a murderous mother doesn't quite fit into that mold...
@ycasto1063
@@janeyrevanescence12 that might be a factor, but the (antiquated) term for harsh mother "steife Mutter" and the word for stepmothee "Stiefmutter" sound fairly similar. So its very possible that the mothers in the stories were the biological parents of the children, but just very harsh and evil
@qwertzqwertz7618
But these days, everyone seems to love stepmothers. And stepsisters.
