Moyal was born on the 18th January 1981 in Gilo, Jerusalem. When he was a year and a half old his family moved to Ma'ale Adumim in the suburbs of Jerusalem, where he grew up with his brother. As a child, Moyal listened a lot to his father who used to play the guitar and perform occasionally in the Andalusian Music Band (Spanish orchestra), and also composed songs. Moyal grew up in a musical house but did not plan to pursue a musical career. nevertheless, after graduating from the high school he kept on working on his passion for music by playing his guitar and writing songs.
Moyal's career started through his winning the second season of the Israeli television series Kochav Nolad (A Star Is Born), which he followed by winning the 2004 Chanukah Song Festival with the song "Zorro" (lyrics by Uzi Khitman and music by Shlomi Shabat) .
He has now released two albums, and has performed on stage in the musical play Like in a Movie.
