Today, I was talking with a lady A. Meanwhile, lady B came and interrupted in the middle of our conversation ( between A and I)
I was trying to be polite, responded "Hi" to B. But B kept talking.
After interruption, A was waiting for a while, but B kept talking. Then A left. I feel so bad, because I don't know what should I do.

So, I'd like to know, what should I do? How do I control this situation ? Am I very rude? Because I really have no idea what should I do.

I live in London which is so multicultural now so I see this all the time. It's not just immigrants but uneducated Brits who haven't had a good upbringing. It all depends on how you are raised.

Thank you very much! I find it so useful! Especially the body odor part. It is not easy for people to be aware of their bad breath or clothe odor. And it is not in our culture that we need to take care of the smell. I always wondered why North Americans don't smell bad. you just gave me the answer. lol

Just a few more helpful hints.
Remember, during dinner, if someone breaks wind, always say, "Good one!".
Always compliment a belch or fart at the table.
Also, when you sit down for dinner, it's polite to ask: What's this? Does that smell right to you? and Is it supposed to look like that?

My friend asked me to use this "DONT DO" iPhone app by lokesh which helps me to make sure that I dont do whatever I am supposed to not do!

Once one of my colleagues was moving heavy things all by herself. I felt bad, so I politely asked, “Do you need a hand?” That’s one way to ask if she needs help. She looked up angrily and barked at me, “A hand? I have two hands!” I gave a nervous smile, mumbled, “Of course, sorry”, turned away, and kept my mouth shut. Since then I stopped using that expression “need a hand”.

We have a Japanese colleague. If anybody asks, “How are you, Dr. Takagi?”, he becomes very uncomfortable with suspicion, and asks back, “Why?” So we have dropped general polite greetings with him. I had some non-English-speaking colleagues, things got more weird/ridiculous with them. They ask me, “How are you?”, I respond, “I am fine. Thank you. How about yourself?” They get very offended. One of them thought, “How about yourself” means “not your damn business”. Another guy thought, it means “What is that to you?”. A woman thought, it means “Go F— yourself”. Politeness is highly overrated.

Trivial small things which may happen eventually, unknowingly or in a hurry... we need not categorize that in bad manners or getting offended on such trivial matters. Like if 2 people are talking in a crowd or party, and there's hardly any space around, of course we can go between them. They will understand why I need to! They're not immature Kindergarten kids that it would piss them off cuz it's a bad manner. Any sensible person won't go between people if there's enough space around
And staring is not always with bad intentions, people stare out of curiosity or just to see how well someone's dressed or good hair he/she has. These things show how easily pissed you English people are at small things in daily life that doesn't hold any potent importance in shaping your day... The staring man would eventually pass, so will the man going between you 7 your friend, or the one who was a little impatient. The rest should be avoided for sure, I agree

Well most of this is basic common knowledge in all countries like the spitting and such, however points she makes like the kissing. In France it is customary for acquaintances and friends to kiss both cheeks of their face when they meet in a public place where as we don't do that. So it all depends on the certain cultures people are from.

I would add to #8 that American men view staring as a sign of aggression. If a woman stares at you it is seen as meaning she likes you, if a man stares at you it means he doesn't like you.

In my country it'd be dangerous not to look at the people in the streets. Here, people usualy is accostumed to look at everyone in the face so they can know if somebody looks dangerous, if they look like robbers for example, that usually happens in the big cities. It's not like it always happens, but the people is cautious.
