Genebra
Harry Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
And through the fields world seems it never ends
Yellow sunshine was green and blue to us
You were the beauty running in the woods
Something has come
In our hearts
We touched the stars
Lost in time we could not find our home
Closed our ears and many years were gone
Eyes like lenses, with our senses in smiles
Layed our heads on grass as night went by
Something has come...
Something has come
In our minds
We Kissed the skies
Without raising our heads
The lyrics to Harry's song "Genebra" paint the picture of a blissful moment in time. The singer describes walking through fields with a companion while drunk, and the world seems to go on endlessly. The colors of the sunshine are intensified, and it feels like the beauty of the world is encapsulated in this one moment. The companion is described as a "beauty running in the woods," which adds to the carefree and uninhibited atmosphere of the moment. The singer mentions that "something has come" in their hearts and minds, which has allowed them to touch the stars and kiss the skies without physically moving their hands or raising their heads. This may be interpreted as a moment of pure ecstasy or a profound connection with the environment and each other. The following verse describes being lost in time and not being able to find their way back home, suggesting that this moment is temporary and fleeting. Despite this, the singer and their companion are content to lay their heads on the grass and watch the night go by, still enveloped in the moment.
Overall, the song "Genebra" seems to capture the essence of a perfect moment in time. The lyrics are wistful and nostalgic, and they describe a moment of pure contentment and joy. The imagery used in the lyrics is evocative, painting a vivid picture of the fields, woods, and colors of the sky. The song may be interpreted as a celebration of nature and the beauty of the world, as well as the connections that can be forged between people in these moments.

Obrigado !
