Treat People with Kindness
Harry Styles Lyrics

Maybe we can find a place to feel good
And we can treat people with kindness
Find a place to feel good

I got a good feeling
I'm just takin' it all in
Floatin' up and dreamin'
Droppin' into the deep end

And if we're here long enough
They'll sing a song for us (ah ah ah ah)
And we'll belong

Maybe we can find a place to feel good
And we can treat people with kindness
Find a place to feel good

Givin' second chances
I don't need all the answers
Feelin' good in my skin
I just keep on dancin'

And if we're here long enough
We'll see it's all for us (ah ah ah ah)
And we'll belong

Maybe we can find a place to feel good
And we can treat people with kindness
Find a place to feel good

And it's just another day (and it's just another day)
And if our friends all pass away (oh-oh, oh-oh)
It's okay (it's okay, it's okay, it's okay)
It's okay, it's okay, yeah
Hey
Here we go now

Maybe we can find a place to feel good
And we can treat people with kindness
Find a place to feel good

All we ever want is automatic all the time
All we ever want is auto all of the time
All we ever want is automatic all the time
All we ever want is auto all of the time

Maybe (all together now) we can (one more time)
Find a place to feel good (oh yeah)
And we can treat people with kindness (just a little more kindness)
Find a place to feel good

Harry is so many things: An iconoclast, and I mean today's meaning, like: "rugged individualist, bold thinker who doesn't give a hoot what tradition calls for," he's anachronistic, and an old soul. In "TPWK," he's written (with Jeff Bhasker and Ilsey Juber) the most exultant and transcendent pop song since Pharrell's "Happy" eight years ago! Get or don't get whatever shot into your arm, Harry has given us a vaccine for the soul, if not the heart.

It's telling that Harry has been quoted (Music Week) as saying that he "credits a David Bowie interview for the inspiration behind the song's release, referring to it as a 'tribute'." Seriously, how many 27-year-olds have even heard of Bowie? More daunting, how many current pop stars yearning to be hip and relevant would "admit" to being inspired by a recently-passed 69-year-old, regardless of his prestige or talent? Did I mention Harry's an old soul?

Gabe Turner (the video's director, with his bro, Ben) has been quoted (British GQ) as saying that "the influence for the music video's dance was inspired by a 1920s Nicholas Brothers dance scene from 'Stormy Weather' (1943 film musical starring Lena Horne, Cab Calloway---another influencer of Styles!---and Bill Robinson) which led to the idea of having Styles perform with a dance partner." The music video choreographer, Paul Roberts, explained to Billboard Magazine that he also had "gained inspiration for the dance from Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly."

Young fans of Harry would do well to do a deep dive into these aforementioned influences of Harry's. You'll get a revealing peek into Harry's art and what flips on his "muse." Kudos, too, to Harry's managers and Columbia Records for letting Harry be Harry. It'd be too easy to just bend to the current flood of Max Martin-esque auto-tuned pop syrup to make a quick buck. If Harry got initial push-back from the label, a doff of the fedora to Harry for standing his ground for his art. I'm guessing, though, that CBS saw a lad veritably bursting with talent!

Just thought I'd shine a light of perspective on what we have here in Harry. He's not a fly-by-night, flash-in-the-pop-pan assembly line singer. And, returning to a Bowie reference, Harry is at the dawn of a multi-layered and lengthy career that undoubtedly (like Bowie) include film, and even Broadway (and did I hear someone say, "Vegas residency"? It'll happen at some point). If music artists were like stocks one could invest in, I'd invest heavily in Harry Styles. And, I'm 66.

ATTENTION CALLING ALL DIRECTIONERS

As you all know, the 11 year anniversary is coming up on the 23rd of next July. But we have some projects we must complete before then. Those targets are as follows;

1) Even though songs like More than this, best song ever, etc, have hundreds of millions of views, it's still not what they deserve. We have decided to stream the less popular songs on July 22nd, the day before the 11 year anniversary to get them to charts. Maybe we have to start streaming a little bit beforehand, but still. We need to stream the songs on every possible platform; YouTube, Spotify, iTunes, Amazon music etc. If this is
the same group of people who sold FNB stadium within a minute, then why couldn't we be able to do this?

2) This was planned a year ago, but this time we could easily do this. The second project is to stream drag me down, which as we can see is so close to 1 billion views, but, story of my life isn't, so we will str3am story of my life on July 18th (The last Sunday before the anniversary) and make the masterpiece number 1 on that day. I think none of the above are difficult tasks, but that's only if we spread the words. So kindly spread the words.

Copy and paste this, guys, believe me we can do it! I know we kinda planned it last time and fell short, but we can do it if we try harder

The first five streams should be on YouTube because YouTube will not count more than five views from a single device within a day. Then move on to other platforms like Spotify, iTunes, Amazon music etc And listen to the song. This will never be a difficult task, because look at the number of subscribers they have. If we all listened to it ten times, there will be 353 million streams. If we all listen to it 30 times it will have more than one billion streams. So it will never be a time consuming task. And if it reached number 1 on that day more people will listen to it.

3) More than this" this project might not be familiar with at least some of you. The project is to get the song to charts July 22nd, the day before their anniversary. Sadly the famous live version is not available on Spotify. So let's listen to the studio version

Copy and paste this, guys, believe me we can do it! I know we kinda planned it last time and fell short, but we can do it if we try harder.
