Fell head over heels for the wrong woman to this song. Used to kill me to hear this song and be reminded of her. And then it happens, you hear Johnny Hartman and you know right away that his rich sound, phrasing that was original yet retained the essence of the song writer's intent and compatibility with the great instrumentalists of his time, so you you sit down in a pleasant state of shock. You know right away that you have simply found the best all around vocal Artist of all time.

I cut my teeth on Motown Music. I was a singer in my teens, and had a chance to meet the Miracles. Sang with the singer that replaced Smokey. Hartman and Smokey are in two different realms. Jazz ballads and Soul are as different as night and day. Different feel and different genre.
