The lyrics of "X" by Hatari describe a sense of hopelessness and despair, painting a bleak picture of life. The first line suggests that the art of poetry is dead, and that knowledge is lost. Klemens solo isnt EBM, thats Electro. Gothic maybe but not even dark.
Matthias screams to deliver emotions is, something new in the way he does it. Sort of like mixing Trent reznor with Nivek Ogre. But still not.
Hocico is the sound, yeah, but completely different since Hicico hates something, or someone.
Matthias just hate.....and the way he uses words that doesnt really connects, but still ignites emotions.....that is new.
He is not among the normal "screamingers". He is....different.
Aggrotech, yeah, but Hatari is "to slow" for that really, but I agree with you that its the part they would fit the most.
An evolved version of EBM, is another word for what music Hatari is.
But you and me and others IN THIS GENRA, can argue forever about this.

This was a tough one to work through... sounds like someone had a really tough breakup...
I interpret the gengisfallið as a devaluation, downfall of moral values (popular ranting topic since Cicero), especially with the ape reference at the end. Jane Goodall would likely protest here... some apes are morally more evolved than some humans.
Interesting imagery at the end, sounds like Ovid's ars amatoria where Ovid directly likens love to war. Also the wave - I read tarot where water/cups is the same as emotions. oh, also a wisdom of Tarot, death is rarely actual death but more often transmutation and change.
What I think is most interesting about these lyrics is that they both work as a general rant about everything that's wrong with our times, AS WELL as a personal story about a breakup.
If that was a real person: OMG. Sounds like there was some cheating going on. I hope whoever was affected feels better now. If anyone is in a shitty situation: there are better people out there and you deserve better. <3
