Influencied by punk rock, hardcore and indie rock, the group tries to keep its own style and to play a very personal music.
Specially in the lyrics, the group shows the real and sincere feelings of daily situations, with a strong emotional content.
That's maybe the reason why they create such a big involvement with their public.
Rodrigo Koala [guitar and vocal], Ricardo di Roberto [drums], and Cesar Santisteban [bass and vocal] gave concerts all over the country, recorded their first demo "Blind Youth" and the first album "Hydrophobia" (Choice Records). In 1996, another guitar player, Boris Fratogianni, joined the group and they recorded, in 1998, the album "Feeling like Nick" (Holiday Records), which is sold out. A few months after, Santisteban left the group and Fernando Sanches [[artist]Dance of Days, Small Talk, Againe, Van Damien, actually CPM 22] took his place.
"Teenage X-Mas Song" was recorded in 2001, in a CD specially made for a Christmas Party at the Hangar 110, a punk rock night-club in Sao Paulo, with the four of them, plus Maurício Takara. The first live album, "More Live Than Dead", was recorded in 2002, at the Hangar 110. The group has also a cover of the American band Husker Dü (Don't Wanna Know if You're Lonely). At the end of 2002, Fernando Sanches has left the group and Andre Abreu (Dé) joined it.
The aim of the group is still the same as it was in the beggining: play as much as possible, at the most different places and keep the integrity of emotion of its music.

Here I Come
Hateen Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
What's wrong with me
Should i come quiet
Think i shouldn't try
I've been thinking about love
And found it hard to explain
What's the problem with me
Once i can't stand all this pain..
Does it make you feel better?
For everyone i've loved
Watch me breaking
My love i died!
The lyrics of Hateen's song Here I Come deal with the singer's feelings of vulnerability and insecurity when it comes to expressing his love. The opening lines show his hesitancy, wondering what is wrong with him, and questioning whether he should come quietly. He then admits to struggling to understand and explain love, which suggests that he may have had difficulty connecting with others due to his own emotional barriers. He acknowledges that this pain has caused him to suffer in his relationships, leading him to question whether love is really worth it.
The chorus seeks to understand others' perspectives on love, wondering if it really does make them feel better. However, the song then takes a darker turn, with the singer lamenting that every time he has loved, he has ended up breaking and ultimately dying inside. This suggests that the singer may have a fear of vulnerability and rejection, leading him to sabotage his own relationships in an attempt to protect himself.
Overall, the lyrics of Here I Come are a poignant exploration of the difficulties of love and relationships, and the emotional barriers that can prevent us from truly connecting with others.
