Culross (again formerly of Malevolent Creation) and Humlack were recruited for The Only Law Is Survival. In the meanwhile, Symons would also join Malevolent Creation. Humlack left the fold unwilling to tour and the band opened for Malevolent Creation in Europe with Julian 'Xaphan' Hollowell of Kult Ov Azazel and Demonic Christ. Another tour would be scheduled for Europe in the summer of 2003. This would be followed with the announcement that a new album is being planned.
2004's Mosh Pit Murder featured live recordings captured on the band's 2000 tour with SOD. The set was taken from a Michigan show. The CD featured a 1996 demo as bonus material.

The lyrics to Hateplow's song Compound tell a story of a group of people who follow one man who they believe to be Jesus Christ. This man has brainwashed them and controls their every move while preaching his words to gain more followers to live on their compound. They guard their ranch day and night and have no chance to live a normal life. The society is led by an inbred man with visions of hypocrisy, who brainwashes his followers and wants to start a colony and start a family.
As the story continues, the man begins to believe that suicide is the only way for them to get away from the FBI who surrounds them. The group is engulfed in tons of gasoline, and he lights the match, knowing that they will all die. The song portrays the dangerous effects of cults and how people can be mind-controlled and led to believe things that don't make sense. It also touches upon the idea of suicide as an escape, highlighting the psychological effects of such a decision.
