I've posted this before on different videos y'all have put out, but please never stop writing up the process behind how the songs came to fruition in the description of these videos. The struggles of 'finishing the puzzle' is so relatable and reassuring to fellow songwriters. Many times as the listener you just get the perspective of the finished product and no real peek behind the curtain as to what transpired to get to that point. It's reassuring to people like me at least because after more than 20 years of playing guitar it's clear that getting 'stuck' is just part of the process.

I guess I don't really have a point aside from saying thank you for taking the time to write that up and providing the additional perspective that helps people like me appreciate your music even more. Super hyped for this album!

Taking a break from a project to be able to finish it later is a great composition strategy. I often will bang out a rough draft of a composition and put it in a drawer for 6 months before going back to edit it.

@@wesleytrott6397 Listed to it through my Logitech speakers, Sennheiser CX300S earphones, Tannoy Reveal 402 studio monitors and my Dad's silly expensive Hi Fi set up. Drums are too loud, imo, on all of them.
It's not just this song either, so many recent metal songs have the drums way too loud in the mix, to the point where it becomes hard to hear what the guitar is doing.
