It was established by members of folk-rock band "Nová rieka" in 1999. Even at the beginning this band was able to get attention of its nowadays solid fans although it was performing only small events in the town of Prešov, Slovakia. It got a breakthrough when it won "Stropkovská hudobná liga" (bands competition) in 2003. The band become a cult issue.

The band declares its music style as "eskimo-punk". It associates itself with punk and also with folk. It is appreciated also by fans of alternative rock. This fact means band is invited to different events starting tramp sessions through bikers' meetings ending with rock festivals.

The band claims its repertoire consists of about sixty songs with three cover-versions of other popular band songs.
