Before the band's second single Crap Head, bassist Kawady decided to leave and was replaced by Narumi. Playing at small venues all over Japan, they started to gain more popularity. In 2002, Head Phones President made their first international tour, including a stop in New York City.
Head Phones President's first album Vary was released in late 2003, after which the band returned to America for another short tour and started releasing CDs in the United States.
In 2005 Okaji left the band, desiring to make his own music. They recruited a support drummer Batch, who was made an official member in 2009. They continued to tour Japan, taking intermittent breaks, allowing Anza to work on her solo career.
The end of 2006 saw the release of their first live DVD, Toy's Box in August. The band desired still to tour Europe, and in February 2007, they went to Sweden for two performances.
In November, they performed at the animation convention Pacific Media Expo in Los Angeles, California. The bands next album, Folie a Deux, was released on December 12, 2007.
In July 2008, they played the Formoz Music Festival in Taipei, Taiwan, and due to popular demand, they returned to the country again on July 2009 to play a club date in Taipei.
The latest album, Prodigium, will be released on October 7, 2009.

Chain
Head Phones President Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I throw myself.
I do rip. why do rip. Suddenly or errant lie?
Can you fight? you believe?
Or many lies, too many lies, too many lies.
Can you fight? You believe?
Or many lies, too many...
Oh, I pray, sigh, night. hide away.
errant lie, sell out, do you rip for?
and do rip, sacred lie, fight to the way.
I know the way and reason why the sacred lie.
and rely, and rely, do you rip for.
and do rip, sacred lie.
errant lie, sell out, do you rip for?
and do rip, sacred lie.
errant lie, sell out, do you rip for?
and do rip, sacred lie, fight to the way.
I chose? Refile me? Merciless...refile in for?
I chose? resgh ...chose...fake? Lie!!.
I pray, sigh,night, hide away.
Lie. Fight to the way.
The lyrics of Head Phones President's song Chain can be quite confusing, as they seem to be a mix of fragmented phrases without a clear narrative. However, the overall theme seems to be one of questioning beliefs and fighting against lies and deceit. The repetition of "Can you fight? You believe?" seems to be a call to arms for the listener to stand up for their beliefs and not give in to falsehoods.
The phrases "errant lie" and "sacred lie" seem to represent two different kinds of lies - one that is unintentional or accidental, and another that is purposeful and manipulative. The lyric "I know the way and reason why the sacred lie" suggests that there is a hidden agenda behind certain lies that are being propagated.
The final lines of the song, "I chose? Resgh ...chose...fake? Lie!!" are particularly enigmatic, and could be interpreted in a number of ways. It could be a call to reject false choices and to find one's own path, or a condemnation of those who deceive others with false choices.
Overall, Chain is a thought-provoking song that encourages listeners to think critically about the information they are presented with and to stand up for their beliefs.

Her expressions tho ❤
Lots of artists try to look pretty in their vids, instead of expressing the true feeling of the lyrics. But not her, she SHOWS you the song meaning. What a Goddess.
