Naively, I had been attracted to the city as a child
As a kid, I was drawn towards the city, without really understanding the complexities of it

It was the heart of community
The city was the center of social and cultural activity

Unified, healthy, sharp, abbreviated
The city was organized, prosperous and efficient

Opportunities in the city
The city presented a lot more prospects and possibilities

Greater for the choices of success
These opportunities increased the chances of being successful

and happiness - acceptable - completeness
It was commonly believed that success and wealth were essential for happiness and fulfillment

I moved there as a teenager
I shifted to the city during my teenage years

and was exposed to subliminal images and emotions
In the city, I was influenced by subconscious messages and emotions

that relied due to accumulation of the rational defined
These messages and emotions stemmed from a cumulative rationalization

Expectations everywhere would lead us to the dream
There were expectations all around to pursue the dream of wealth and success

Was this where we were first exposed?
Was this the place where these influences first started affecting us?

Invaded our faith
Our beliefs and values were forcefully influenced and controlled

Invaded our skin
Our physical bodies were affected, violated and exploited

Invaded from within
This invasion was not only external but also internal

Don't you see they're taking us?
Can't you see that we're being forced into submission by these influences?

The Criminal Nation has led this invasion
The ones responsible for this invasion are the oppressive rulers of the nation

Now we're protected
Now there is a protectionist attitude in place

No one except "type A intellectual unaffected numerically connected" can enter the city
Only those who are highly intelligent and successful are allowed into the city

On arrival, shocked by extent, exposure infestation
People who enter the city are amazed at the level of influence and manipulation around them

Denied the truth - shelter - propaganda
The truth is hidden and replaced with propaganda and misinformation

And at the gates, the word had changed
Even the language had changed at the city's entrance

So recognize the invasion
We need to acknowledge that this is an invasion

Invaded our blood
The influence has penetrated through our veins

Invaded with sin
We have been corrupted and poisoned morally and ethically

The city's influence has taken control of us entirely

I saw the sign on the city wall predicting the final day

Then concluding that it had come
I came to the realization that the prophecy was coming true

This realization made me realize that I should leave the city

As I left through the gates, I was joined by a crowd all sensing the same
As I left the city, I was not alone in feeling uneasy about what I saw

Now I've led you to this place, seen your point of view, dreamt up other faiths we could be too
I've brought you to this realization, understood your case and envisioned alternative lifestyles

All we've seen, we can't change now
We cannot unsee what we've seen

Although you feel there were many things unanswered by,
Although you may have questions left unanswered

If only I'd tried in life just to let it all lie
If only I had lived my life without being affected by these influences

No one man decides the fate of the world
