Headstone Epitaph Lyrics

[i tried to create a ballad that wasn't to classic.]
[Lovers afflicted with doubts.]
[vers:]
will I follow words I've ever known
will I leave you here leave you now alone my dear
will I always know
whisper my aim
and let me know the same
let me know what I don't know
and what I always claim
[vers:]
remember what I've told to you
that I am susceptible to what you say is
my command
my will and my life is in your hand
will I always know
The song "Whisper" by Headstone Epitaph is a ballad that delves into the realm of mixed emotions experienced by lovers who are plagued with doubts. The lyrics are inspired by a psychedelic moment where the artist tried to create a ballad that was not too classic in its approach. The first verse begins with a question, "will I follow words I've ever known" and then leaves the lover wondering if they will be left alone. The uncertainty continues in the chorus where the lover seeks some answers, asking the partner to whisper their aim and let them know the same.
In the second verse, the lyrics take a romantic turn where the lover remembers what they had told to their partner earlier, that they are susceptible to what they say and their command, and their life is in their hands. The song ends with the same uncertainty as it began, with the lover still questioning if they will always know. The artist has captured the essence of a tumultuous relationship where both partners have their doubts and seek reassurance.
