Heather Myles gets her musical inspiration from a background that is as diverse as the artist herself. Growing up on a ranch in Southern California, Heather was immersed in the sounds of country music radio at a time when legends were being born. The voices of Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette, Waylon Jennings, and Hank Williams all played a large part influencing Heather as a songwriter and an outstanding performer. Additionally, it was the sound of her dad's ukulele and grandpa's old Scottish bagpipes that have been responsible for shaping her into the artist she is today.
Heather's family, originally from Scotland, settled in Canada and eventually migrated to Southern California where they operated a ranch specializing in the breeding and training of racehorses. As a child, Heather always thought she would follow in the family business and even considered becoming a jockey. However, an extraordinary talent for music and her powerful voice would soon lead Heather to a much different track.
Now, after four CDs and several years touring the world, playing honky-tonks and opening shows for Charlie Daniels, Merle Haggard, and Waylon Jennings, Heather is poised for stardom and ready to take her place on the main stage of Country and American music.
Playing Every Honky Tonk In Town

Singin' every song I know to the new family I've found.
So if you're lookin' for me, start makin' your rounds,
Because I'm playin' every honky tonk in town.
Ever since you left me, for somebody new,
I thought my world had ended, but now I'm over you.
Now you've given me this new life, and I know right where I'm bound,Because I'm playin' every honky tonk in town.
Instrumental break.
You won't see no bright lights, but there's a neon sign,
A jukebox in the corner and I'm there 'til closin' time.
Now I go to bed each mornin', wake when the sun goes down,
Because I'm playin' every honky tonk in town.
So if you're lookin' for me, start makin' your rounds,
Because I'm playin' every honky tonk in town.
Because I'm playin' every honky tonk in town.
The lyrics to Heather Myles's song "Playin' Every Honky Tonk in Town" are about moving on from a break-up and starting a new life. The singer has been left by a former lover, which initially led to feelings of ending the world. However, now the singer has found a new family in the music scene and has a new sense of purpose. The singer sings every song they know to this new family, performing in every honky tonk in town. The lyrics describe a life of long, late nights and a daily rhythm that starts late and ends early in the morning.
The song is an uplifting and positive message of resilience and the healing powers of music. The singer is not wallowing in self-pity but has embraced a new life that centers around creating music and performing. The song is an anthem for anyone who has experienced heartbreak and is looking for a fresh start. The honky-tonk setting is a classic backdrop for this kind of story, with its melancholic atmosphere, country decor, and dance floor where people drown their sorrows with friends or strangers. The song captures the essence of honky tonk culture - the music, the socializing and the emotional release that it provides.
